Search efforts continue for missing Waukesha County teen

It's been more than eight months since a Waukesha County teen walked away from a treatment facility in Vernon and has not been seen since.

There was a large-scale search Saturday in Vernon for Isaiah Cramer.

I live in the area where Isaiah went missing. The admin on the Facebook page is his dad, Vance. They personally organized a search this past weekend ..unlike the last search that was organized by Equisearch. (Think that was the right name?) While the search did not find their sweet son, it did seem to tell them that they are searching in the right area. He left the mental health facility without his phone, head phones were found and confirmed to be his through dna, he was without his seizure meds and it was cold out. The area is remote, rugged, hilly, swampy with reservoirs near by. He hasn’t been spotted since he entered that area. The family is hurting and just want to find him…. My heart hurts for their pain and wish them some closure…whatever that may be…

I think there's been more searching for Isaiah than almost anyone else I've known about in Wisconsin. I almost wonder if he got picked up by someone and ran away with them.

I wondered about that as well, but believe he was too close to his parents to not have reached out to them…don’t think, my opinion only, that he wouldn’t have reached out to them…

I don’t know his background at all. Was he adopted? He was in a home of some type, for behavior? I just know nothing to guess at their relationship. But they sure love that boy.

It could simply be they updated an address or phone number on the law enforcement side - nothing important may have happened. There’s a whole part of NamUs the public has no access to. I’d love it if the cramers uploaded their search maps so we can see what hasn’t been searched yet. Although given the time of year, it might not make sense to look now.

In a statement Tuesday, Waukesha County Sheriff's Department said it's still receiving tips and expanded the search with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to share Isaiah's information across the country.

"It's nationwide. So I had friends that are a friend in Texas send me a picture of a grocery store flier with his picture on it," Vance Cramer said. "It's been coast to coast, you know, California to New Jersey, Pennsylvania."

The raw and open emotion of this video is gut wrenching! This family is hurting! May there be closure, may the searching find the answers they need for that closure! May their loved one be found!

So was Isaiah adopted? I saw there’s a Isaiah Marley Cramer Sr. 35 yr old. What is the court cases about the minor settlement that occurred around the time he went missing? And in the trail cam pic released it looks like he has some sort of stick or pole or something with him& he’s wearing a baseball cap but they don’t mention it on what he could be wearing.. I would think there’s only so many caps with him there it could be.
