WI - Jamal White, 7, taken a gunpoint by unk male & put into a white Jeep Renegade SUV, 6200 block W Hustis, Milwaukee, 11 Jul 2025 *arrests*

I think BC may be the 14 year old who participated in the robbery gone awry turned abduction and has not been named MOO
Oh you're right -- here's an article that describes the person planning the thing as 14. Wow, it's hard for me to imagine kidnapping a child because a 9th grader said it sounded like a good idea. Everything about this situation is so incredibly odd to me.

  • #102
Jamal later told police he heard his mother say she would come pick him up, but he teared up in the interview when he said she never showed up.
Poor little Jamal! That's when he notices his mother isn't showing up for him. Although imho he'll be better off in foster care and hopefully never goes back to his mother or other family mbrs, he can't know that at his age. So of course he will feel sad and betrayed and let down by his mother. MOO

I really hope he gets the help he needs to recover from this incident, or at least partially recover.

  • #103
The story about 4 armed, masked kidnappers never made sense, especially in a case where the child is released unharmed blocks away.

It seemed staged. IMO
Watching the supposed kidnapping by vehicle didn't even make sense to me - I couldn't follow it, I thought I was just dumb, but it turns out maybe not...

  • #104
We don't know who the "BC" person mentioned in this affidavit is, right? Just making sure I haven't missed anything.
Probably the 14 year old minor. Williams and minor are the only two who have been arrested correct? The third individual is still being investigated.

Did you look at Mom’s fb page? I think it shows where her focus lies, MOO. Even though he is in some pictures …

Poor little guy, he needs to just be a kid in a secure, loving home.

No, I didn't. I'm not on FB. But I believe it that he's not her focus, as your post implies.

A 14-year-old boy appeared in children's court, accused of devising a robbery plan and kidnapping a 7-year-old child. The kidnapping was captured on surveillance video.

*****
Prosecutors want the 14-year-old's case moved to adult court. The state filed a waiver petition, which Milwaukee County Court Commissioner Katryna Childs Rhodes decided will move forward with a waiver hearing. A judge will decide whether to move the teen's case from children's court to adult court.

*****

*****
The 14-year-old boy accused of kidnapping a 7-year-old at gunpoint earlier this month will continue to be held in secure detention.

*****
The judge stressed the seriousness of the allegations, saying if the boy were charged as an adult, it would equate to three felonies and a misdemeanor.

*****
"It is allegedly caught on tape," said Judicial Court Commissioner Katryna Childs Rhodes. "And it allegedly happened while you were possessing a weapon. All of that is incredibly dangerous. I don't feel safe releasing you out into the community at this time."

*****
His next court appearance will be July 30 at 3 p.m.

Sounds like that 14 year old never had a chance

I didn't get much out of the 14 year old's background from that. (but it's early and I'm not yet had coffee) It can't have been good. The comments about the "boy's mother" being arrested on a probation violation referred to Jamal's mother (the kidnapped child) Since it was clarified after I'd posted a while back that her arrest was NOT in relation to the kidnapping, we can't link the case that warranted the arrest.

According to court documents, the 14-year-old actually initiated the plan - he contacted 25-year-old Corey Williams with a scheme to rob Jamal’s mother, who he claimed was flaunting cash and drugs.

I don’t understand what point you’re trying to make with the bolded statement

A 14 year old initiated a kidnapping and the adults around him said “yeah sure”

1. 14 year olds who have had fab lives dont generally randomly say hey let me kidnap a kid
2. He accessed, at 14, a known drug dealer and another grown adult who went along with it

No. He never had a chance and while at 14 he made this choice, clearly if this was of his own mental doing, enough people were aware that he could have been admitted instead supported

  • #113
I feel like I know where this is going next so I just want to remind us

It’s okay to say the world failed someone while at the same time acknowledging they had “choice” and hold them accountable for what they chose to do.

I'm simply letting you know what the court documents state.
Your theory may be that this 14 year old is somehow a victim.
Well, he orchestrated a plan to kidnap a child at gunpoint, and prosecutors are pushing that he be tried as an adult.

IMO the victim is Jamal, the 7 year old.

Police say two individuals get out of the Jeep, and one of those people chases the father as he runs into the home. The other chases Jamal and carries him back to the Jeep before fleeing with both suspects inside the vehicle.
Rbm.
Good grief.
Sure, just run into the house and leave your own child outside.
Smh.

Glad Jamal is safe, but I wish they'd adopt him out to a better family.
Imo.

In light of his recent arrest on kidnapping charges, and being named by LE, Mr. Johnson's court history in Wisconson )dates back to 2006.) According to his arrest for the kidnapping his DOB is 1987 which makes him 38 years old. Wisconsin Circuit Court Access

A brief synoposis of the current charges and another case, that though back in 2013, might be factored into sentenciing as "prior felony history", in my opinion.

I'm curious to see how this hearing goes. Is this 14 yr old going to look and act like a young kid that got in over his head, and is now humbled, regretful and wanting to change his life's trajectory?

OR is he going to be arrogant and smiling with conceit and act like a gang banger, proudly on his way to adult prison ?
