Maybe because 2 of the people they were going to arrest lived in the home he was kidnapped from? Does that mean it was Dad's home and his roommates were involved with the kidnapping? 😳
IMO, they may have been arrested not because they were involved with the kidnapping - more related to something in the investigation into what was going on in the home.

I guess my first question is why is Jamal in the care of CPS at all? Why wasn’t he released to the family after being found?
If the abduction arose out of some previous interaction with the kidnappers and the boy's family, LE (and thus CPS) will normally ensure there isn't an ongoing threat before he's released to the care of his family.

If you look at the Sheriff's bookings, you can find recent bookings, the custody date July 13 would apply, charges pending. :: Milwaukee County Sheriff :: In Custody Locator Since they have not yet been formally named by LE, I can't provide a link to the booking that may apply.

I'm thinking the person(s) arrested in the home Jamal went missing from that the msm article in the thread noted as being an"obstruction"charge is (IMO) likely due to things that may come out in investigation that some parties would rather not have LE know.

SNIPPED: Prosecutors say 27-year-old Jamel White fired several shots at a car driving slowly near the family home at 61st and Hustis streets the day after 7-year-old Jamal White was abducted.
SNIPPED:
According to the criminal complaint, White told investigators he shot at the car because "he was scared for his family and he hid the gun behind the house in a wooded area."
A father and son in the car were not hit. They claim they were trying to help in the search for the missing boy.

I’m not sure I believe anything being stated by the Uncle or Dad at this point. Don’t believe the two in the car were trying to help or searching either.

When the suspects approached the dad’s car, the dad ran into the house. It does look like the suspects may have had a gun but he runs into the house leaving his son outside.

I guess he thought they were after him and wouldn’t do anything to his son?

IMO, somebody(s) is up to no good and poor JW was caught in the middle. This could explain why LE isn't giving any updates.

And also explains why CPS held on to the kids instead of sending him back home?

I don’t think that’s the Dad, it’s someone else who was at the house, JMO.

Uncle of abducted Milwaukee boy charged with firing shots at car

So Unc. J White saw a random car driving down the street while young JW was missing and his first instinct is to start firing his gun at the car? Without anything else besides it was driving too slow to suit him as his impetus for doing so??

yeah, I am betting there is a whole lot of not good stuff going on in that household. JMO

I also think this is the dad. The news clip said the dad was driving the sedan and the guy who ran into the house got out of the driver's seat of the sedan.

I don't want to play the game where we assume someone is guilty because of how they react under stress, but it strikes me as odd that when you and your child are threatened by a gun you'd run away from your child and close the door. It makes me think dad might have known who the other guys were and had reason to believe they wouldn't harm the little boy.

The Uncle of the boy who was arrested, is the identical twin of little Jamal's father. (both have the exact same date of birth in public records.) I don't know if that skews the identification of anyone in the kidnapping video. One of them does have distinct neck tattoos, but that probably can't be seen in a video.

Here’s the video of the kidnapping and the Dad shooting at the two men in the car the following day.

I saw a longer video, that shows people running out of the house after Jamal was put in the car. Does anyone have a link for the video I described?

Fishy.
If I thought someone was after me to the extent that I need to run into a building, I wouldn't trust them not to do anything to my child or other vulnerable person.

I wouldn’t either. My question was intended to be sarcastic

I wonder if the person running from the car when Jamal was kidnapped was actually running into the house to get weapons. There seems to be a lot of weapon use involving the adults in this case.
