I didn’t say that LE needs to find how the suspect is known to the family. I said connected to—how he even knew who Jayme was. And I am speaking as a parent. I want to know how he chose her. And if someone 70 miles from me can choose my child to abduct, how is he/she choosing?

Yes, this is what I said earlier.

For some reason the property record isn’t matching another database I am looking at. The property record still shows his name, but the deed shows a bank. I’m guessing the property record may not update that frequently. I know my county sometimes has a few months delay in the update. Oddly enough the deed changed right around when the murders and kidnapping happened.
Yes many county property records do not sync with land records on a regular basis - we do foreclosures and the best data is what is recorded in the public record - IMO- if he quit- claimed the property to the bank that will be a deed recorded - property appraiser and tax collector may take months to catch up but those deeds are recorded ASAP/ I’m wondering what the mortgage was - should be recorded as well - if there is a large mortgage which negates the equity he had it’s smart to stop the bleeding and just sign it over - otherwise if he had equity and signed it over IMO had to be a compelling reason otherwise just sell right? Better to get something than total loss JMO

So how is he prepared with food and necessities for the long haul?
Because this crime was planned.

My point was that I had originally entertained the idea that something similar to the Cheshire murders occurred. That this guy had spotted Jayme in public, and followed her home.

This wasn’t that. I was wrong.

I would think LE in Gordon would pull CCTV cam footage. (I'm not british, it's shorter)

Sorry to hear this for you. Glad you are on here with us, posting.

I posted way back in the beginning something similar to what you're saying. It's like the proverbial "boogeyman" or "monster-under-the-bed" scary to go through what Jayme experienced. Safe and sound in her home, in her jammies and probably sleeping after a pleasant day together with her extended family. What went down in her presence is unimaginable. I hope for the very best for her from now on. That she was able to turn the tables on this predator and rescue herself says a lot about her, IMO, and also may help deal with having been a victim. Take care @StarEyes

Thanks. For sure: boogeyman. I was crying and yelling last evening when we got the news that she’s alive, and it hit me how immensely courageous she is. Took my breath. I knew if she could be put through the Hell of the last 3 months, and STILL have the strength and will to escape...she’s such a warrior. I have renewed hope.

Is there proof she was on discord? I am confused as to why it keeps being brought up?
There is no proof she was on Discord; in fact the Sheriff stated she had no previous interaction with her kidnapper. It keeps getting brought up because some people are making up their own alternative narrative, but I don't know what their motivation would be. MOO.

Yes - having been there myself, I got a definite boot camp feel from that photo :)

If he left for the military at age 18(ish?) in 2015, one path is to serve approximately two years and then return. We all go in lean, and then when we get home, we plump up (it seems) :)

Anyway--I definitely wonder whether he's a vet. Unfortunately, many MANY return with serious PTSD, and addicted to meds which increase the likelihood of violent outbursts. Oh--and, unemployed.

Maybe a behavioral boot camp?

Usually what happens is they arrest the suspect on the initial charges at first. These are so serious so I think he will be denied bond.

That gives the prosecutor more than ample time to add further additional charges.

That is how I have seen it work most often and rape charges are added at a much later date. If he goes to trial they have a long period of time to add all other charges.

There is no rush to add those charges now since he's not going anywhere.

They usually do it this way to spare the victim and families from it becoming public now because it would add to Jayme's fragile emotional state at this time.

However I have no doubt at all this is another sexual motivated crime. I dont know of one case with these same circumstances where sexual assault wasnt the motivating factor behind the crimes. This one will be the same imo

He didnt shoot two people in cold blood and kidnap Jayme so she could play video games with him.

Imo he's another sex predator and most likely a misfit loner who had no girlfriend.

He sure seems to have no goals in life other than doing this. To have a job back when he was 18 and only worked one day makes me think he was being supported by his parents since Fitzgerald said he is unemployed now.

So has he ever worked for long anywhere? Tia

Jmo
I doubt it. He seems to be a predatory loner/deviant but I don't see the Prosecutor ever adding sexual assault charges. They don't need them and it would spare Jayme reliving the emotional trauma of 88 days. The coward should man up and take a plea deal so there is no trial at all.

This. It reminds me of the ATV conversation where someone mentioned it, and for some reason (no reason) everyone thought it was such a grand idea. I think someone even mentioned a way to keep the noise down on it with a ‘part’.
I have no judgement of anyone's possible theory or posts. Many of us hung in here day in and day out for the entire ordeal. We dissected every possible scenario with NO INFORMATION from LE to go on. Did we go down a few rabbit holes, sure. Did we get anxious and testy at times, absolutely. But we always, always came back the next day and the next hoping for a miracle that would bring Jayme home. They shouldn’t! Until she is ready!
I have such mixed feelings on this. I understand why they protect victims of sexual assault, but in doing so, I worry that they further stigmatize those victims. Brush it under the rug. Make it a seem like a dirty secret. Whatever she endured with this sicko is NOT Jayme's fault and she should not feel ashamed of any of it (understanding that is easier said than done). God Bless Elizabeth Smart and Jaycee Dugard for turning this thinking around.

Yep. It’s actually a bit better on your credit score (albeit not a world of difference) if you do voluntarily turn over your possession. This is actually very common with vehicles, surprisingly.

I am curious the career his father has.

So he has no family ties in Barron?
Emph. mine

^^^^ That.
He lived a distance away.
He worked for all of one day at the Jennie-O plant, but that was hardly enough time to figure out which employee had a teen daughter , and where they lived.
Never mind he'd need to know when they were all at home.
(Since he wanted to eliminate witnesses.)

Some people work swing shifts and some just have odd hours where they might be gone at a relatives' or wherever.
And since perp was unemployed... how was he getting groceries for both of them ? Food stamp recipient ?
Asking his mom for extra $$ ?

I’ll truly be shocked if another person isn’t involved. A lookout, at minimum.
Me too I think the investigation is just beginning remember they only had a suspect yesterday as far as we know - lots to do IMO

That Jayme didn’t know about? Seems like she only told them about him.

would delinquent property tax be a reason for this?

Says the basement and patio door expert hahaha :p:D
Ugh. I wasn't really up for another round of "Guess That Floorplan"! But you know, maybe now we'll eventually find out where that mystery staircase is in the Closs house!

Thank you for finding that!

I’m starting to wonder if JP’s father didn’t even know he was living/staying there...

That is my guess. The banks probably didn’t change locks or anything yet since it’s such a long process.

No there is no proof and LE has said there is no evidence they met prior to the abduction - online or otherwise / however I believe he saw and stalked her wanting to possess her IMO- some just can’t let that other online stuff go

Finally, I guess we have a lot of posters up on their knowledge of urban slang....Never heard of incel..I’m officially old. But I used to be cool.
I was cool in the past too, I'd appreciate it if someone would give me cliff notes on the different gaming or chat sites or others mentioned. Thanks in advance:)

Me too. Why should it be a shame for her if she was attacked? I have always thought this. Also why should he get away with not having to be charged for all he did? If he did. He needs the big child sexual assault stigma, that is the stigma.

I had to get off Facebook tonight because I couldn't stand all the low-lifes still insinuating she had something to do with this even after she showed up dirty, hair matted, and in shoes too big for her.
