I am still way behind reading, but just wanted to say... bless poor Jayme. I cannot even imagine. Glad JP shared details & isn't blaming Jayme in some way.

Her lawyer requested he have no access to firearms and no contact of any kind with Jayme or the Kasinskas couple.

Why would they mention restricting firearms if he is already in custody..

It’s over now

Here in California there would be no bail.

Must be Wisconsin laws operating here. I doubt he or his family will raise $5 million cash.

Is there a separate stream for the conference?

Can someone please explain why he’s even eligible for bail in the first place? Sorry if rehash.

theoretically it is possible, yet unlikely, he could post bail and be released

It was a detailed description. I mean they released other vehicle descriptions. It's odd that they didn't release this one as well. Why those and not this one?

Perhaps someone might've said, "I have a friend who has a car like that. He's kind of odd. Been acting strange lately. Always has music on in another room when we're over. Maybe I should call the police."
Someone like his father perhaps?

I wonder what would have happened if LE did publicly state that were looking for someone driving an older model Maroon Taurus. Could he have panicked and killed Jayme?
Certainly a possibility. We may be learning now why LE keeps certain things "close to their vest".

I expected bail to be no less than 5 million if set, but like I said I don’t even understand why this is is even an option to begin with.

Holy crap. I can't believe they set any amount of bail.

Patterson looked bored.

It was good (sort of) to hear more details.

We know exactly what’s sealed MOO.
88 days of unspeakable abuse.
Thank God this has been sealed.

Jayme’s classmates and the whole world don’t have to know about unspeakable indignities and forms of abuse she likely suffered.

Not that she should be ashamed because she is a victim and this was not her fault.

I truly believe all such details should be between her, authorities, medical workers and whomever sheeeeeee chooses to ever tell.

Totally agree. We've learned enough to know that this perp is not "just" a remorseless psychopath, but a sadist who enjoyed killing and psychologically tormenting his victim.

That the State asked for his DNA is answer/info enough.

AND-- WAS HE YAWNING?!

The incel groups have a martyr now, so definitely agreed with you

Real question... I know incels have an extreme hatred and anger towards women, but don't they see the difference between an adult and a child? Doesn't that make a difference? 13 is very different from 20, or even 17.

The video conference thing was absurd.

Just drag him shackled into the courtroom and make him face the charges in person.

$5 million bond, no contact.

I think he should have been in the courtroom today. I think he needs to face the family in person. If he’s so disinterested, why didn’t he go in person? Anyone know? Thanks.

He will not be released. IF he were to somehow make bail I can guarantee the state would just charge him with more crimes and revoke his bail. It's been done on FAR lesser offenses, there's no way this guy will be released, period.
