Daily microwave meal -- was that in the cc? I must have missed it.

I apologize profusely and sincerely.
Tonight, I am unable to find the source to quote, and also, it may have been half of one meal daily...
All I can find on the subject of " food" in the case is that there was a tray which had contained pasta in the garbage.

I retract my statement ( but am going to keep looking) because I can't find the source. I am SO VERY SORRY. I hope she was fed, even though the ladies in the 911 call and interviews said she was a lot thinner...

Will Jayme google herself or JP sometime in the future? Her family may keep her away from media for awhile. These threads are interesting and informative but they might be upsetting for her to read someday. There are some positive and uplifting messages for her but also discussion of things she might rather try and forget. Her friends and classmates may also be googling info on her.

Sorry if repost)

Jayme Closs renews interest in 22-year-old missing person case

“Jayme Closs' safe return home has renewed hope for families still searching for their missing kids, siblings and loved ones.

"Jayme was very strong, and I know my sister is as strong," said Lesley Small, whose sister Sara went missing 22 years ago.”

Snip

“Small wants everyone to recognize her sister's face the way they recognized Jayme's.“

The ladies had only seen pictures of her and I'm told pictures add 10 pounds. But having weighed 100 pounds at 5 ft. tall, myself, if she lost five pounds she would look horrible. That was one thing I was relieved to see that she wasn't emaciated. You don't have to have shampoo to wash your hair..shower gel will clean it.
I think she was scared to let herself be vulnerable to him. I can't imagine being in the house with him and not watching every move he made. I would be afraid to sleep even.

Or maybe he just looked for jobs that did not require a lot of education. I doubt he had to try too hard to not get hired. Or to get fired, for that matter. Imo

It just occurred to me that JP may have applied for jobs as a requirement to keep getting an unemployment check. In our state a person has to show he/she is seeking employment by putting in applications or be cut off. Just my opinion as I have no way of knowing whether he ever worked long enough to qualify! MOO

It is possible that he has no idea of how to take care of anyone. Look at the house he is living in. Does junk piled in the house and junk cars in the yard exhibit understanding how to care for anyone? Disorganized.

Often I would see that lots of junk in the yard indicate alcoholism or some other issues
I think he inherited the household and yard being in disarray. And did nothing about it. But he didn't create it. imo

It is so highly unlikely that HE'S played Monopoly in years..if ever.

She was not a PERSON to him, she was a THING. HIS POSSESSION. * In his mind, not in reality of course*

I do not think there's ANY possibility that he played a true game like Monopoly with her.

Psychopaths cannot relate to others in any personal way like that.
You have to give and take, talk, laugh, communicate in a game, and this one is long. There's just no way I think he could or would play any true game with her or anyone else either.

This is likely a leftover from his brother's time there. The messy old house is like a time capsule from what we can see.

I Agree-

The monopoly game. . . the suggestion by media outlets that the two played a convivial game of Monopoly has really bothered me. Several media outlets did spin the photo of an open game of Monopoly board game on the floor in the one living areas to suggest that perhaps Jayme and Jake were sharing some enjoyable game time time together. (So far from the truth.) If the two played monopoly I can bet you Jayme was under duress to do so. I just do not think that the Monopoly game between them ever happened at all.

Unfortunately I think the suggestion by the media of them playing a "friendly " game of Monopoly has reinforced, for many trying to determine what went on between them, that Jake just wanted Jayme for a "partner or someone to play house with" and that perhaps Jayme was reciprocal.

I have enlarged that picture of the open Monopoly Board game box several times, to me it is just an open Monopoly game box that looks like it fell on the floor and is still laying there, there is nothing about the Monopoly board game photo to suggest any type of "unfinished" game between anyone.

I think we have been extremely positive and respectful to her and when discussing this case since she's been located. AFAIK, the off the wall theories when she was missing were deemed inappropriate ( because they were) and not allowed to be posted or insinuated. I know I NEVER thought she was anything but a crime victim.

I hope if she reads any part of the " true" Internet, she will read right here on WS about her case, because we have literally wept as we sought to find answers which eluded us.

God bless Jayme Closs, and keep her safe forever more.

Obviously he fed her because she's alive. I don't think he wanted her to die from starvation so he fed her and gave her fluids. It was for his own purposes he kept her alive tho. It wasn't because he cared about her.

Interesting that you thought to enlarge it. Great sleuthing.... Tipped over game makes more sense to me.

Jayme Closs suspect reportedly applied for job, labeled himself an ‘honest guy,’ the day teen escaped

“Jayme Closs’ alleged kidnapper Jake Patterson reportedly submitted an online job application to a Wisconsin liquor business the same day the 13-year-old escaped from capture.

Officials with the Saratoga Liquor Co. in Superior, Wisconsin provided a copy of the application they received from Patterson on Jan. 10 to The Associated Press, the outlet said Thursday. The 21-year-old suspect was reportedly interested in a night position at the company’s warehouse, however his lack of required experience would have stopped the company from hiring him, they said.

In the resume that accompanied the application, which details Patterson’s past work experience and education, he also portrayed himself as “an honest and hardworking guy.”

“Not much work experience but I show up to work and am a quick learner,” the document said.“

Everyone has been very respectful when writing about her, just wondering more about whether certain topics or words, might bring back unpleasant memories for her.

Thank you with all my heart for this validation.

The whole issue of " they played Monopoly and games" has really upset me terribly because everything I know, from intuition when looking at the photo to experience, tells me this is not at all what happened, ever.

He was not a BAD MAN.
He is a SADISTIC DOUBLE MURDERER, AN ABDUCTOR, and a person so sick that he MUST be kept from society for the rest of his life.
How I hope everyone UNDERSTANDS THIS KIND OF EVIL.
We are seeing it. More info may be forthcoming.

There are NO Excuses possible IN THIS WORLD for what he has done to the Closs family.

LOVE TO JAYME TONIGHT AND ALWAYS!

On day Jayme Closs escaped, suspect Jake Patterson sought job

“He notes he worked as a “laborer” from April 2018 to November 2018, but Saratoga officials redacted the employer’s name in the provided resume.

Patterson states he served in the Marine Corps for nine months from April 2017 to December 2017. Marine Corps spokeswoman Yvonne Carlock has told AP that Patterson did serve, but only for about five weeks in the fall of 2015. Carlock said his early discharge indicated the “character of his service was incongruent with Marine Corps’ expectations and standards.

Patterson also stated he was a “production worker” from October 2016 to January 2017, specializing in packaging screens. His employer has been redacted. He goes on to say he graduated from high school in 2016, even though he actually graduated in 2015.“

Regarding the topic of interest suggesting that JP could have anti-social personality disorder:
I have studied anti-social personality disorder as well as other disorders for a while now. We must keep in mind that we do not have enough information to determine that JP does indeed have this personality disorder. While there are many flags indicating that this is a possibility, the DSM-V has specific requirements for every mental disorder.

Also, I would just like to note that anti-social personality disorder does NOT necessarily mean that a person with this disorder is ACTUALLY anti-social, a loner, etc. Many people with anti-social personality disorder are popular and have lots of friends, often due to their manipulation and ability to use charisma, therefore making themselves appear to be confident.

The original point is that her food intake may have been rationed to a very low level. As I said, I saw it once, and then not again.

I know he was not starving her. I know nothing like that happened, but underfeeding a 13 year old growing girl is a serious thing, if it did happen.

Things are posted, and they are not dire. It's a matter of degree. I do not know how possible underfeeding could be construed as " He would let her die".
I never said anything like that. Thanks.

Would any of us google what we already know so much more intimately and painfully than the rest of the world can imagine?

Only to find their tawdry thoughts about this deeply personal experience?

Perhaps googling the second sight of dogs or setting up animal rescue center is more her thing.
