Very strange PC. He says Saturday and then corrects to Sunday, and later has to think about it again when saying Sunday. Is it possible something happened sat and it was him on the survellaince?

Jill Rousseau, 55, and her daughter, 21-year-old Jordan, of the town of Dale, have not been seen or heard from since Sunday.

If I recall correctly, when asked if he would like to say something at the end of the PC, he asked Jill to call him. Certainly she would not be able to call if abducted (unless she escaped).

Here's what we know about the Rousseau family:
  • Jill owns and operates Oasis Wellness Center. The business does not have a website, but it has existed since 2011, according to Wisconsin Department of Financial Institution filings.
  • Kelly called Jill a "natural doctor." Her LinkedIn profile refers to her as "doctor" and says she has a Ph.D.
  • Inside the same building, Jordan owns her own businesses, Beyond Fig Leaves Sewing, Alterations, Repairs and Custom Sewing and a sister company Ooak ... Snap Gifts.
  • Kelly owns and operates a self-storage company, Pack Rat and Big Door Storage, adjacent to Oasis Wellness Center.
  • Jordan was home-schooled, and the family has often traveled for homeschooling conventions in Kentucky and elsewhere, Kelly said.
  • Kelly described his wife as analytical and his daughter as a social butterfly who loves to dance and be around people.
  • Johanna Kopecky, a close friend of Jordan, described Jordan as bubbly, talkative, outgoing, friendly and kind.
  • Kelly said Jordan is the only child living at their home, but they have an adopted son, Benson, who is the same age as Jordan.
  • According to a May 2004 story in The Post-Crescent, Kelly and Jill adopted Benson, a 6-year-old at the time, from Haiti.
  • Kelly said "all adoptions don't end happily ever after" and when they last heard from Benson, he was living in Springfield, Missouri.

ving a 2011 Ford Expedition King Ranch. It is maroon on top and tan on the bottom. It has Wisconsin registration 650-PPM. (Picture of a similar vehicle below)

I've been thinking about this ever since you made the point in this post.

Why would his mind go to abduction vs. accident?

Surely, a car accident would be the most likely explanation given the circumstances, which according to him were not out of the ordinary.

Also, they were both supposedly last seen on camera in the SUV, per his reports, which should further indicate a car accident as the most likely explanation for them being missing.

There was nothing amiss at the house, according to him.
So why this immediate leap to the abduction scenario?

Such a statistically low probability of abduction...and this guy saying he's "a problem-solver" jumps to that as the likeliest explanation?

Troubling.

And most people don’t allow their minds to go there, atleast not right away.

It’s the least likely option to begin with, and also the scariest.

Incredibly odd.

Wondering if it's common for them to leave their phones at home. If so, I'd start checking areas their car could have gone off the road.

I don't know...just became aware of these two and the family seems so typical of the area (excluding the religious beliefs). Mom seems so genuine and loving, and after listening to dad, I can come up with many men I know that would ramble like that. Maybe it is just a Wisconsin thing, but I don't find them terribly odd.

Yeah, if this isn’t foul play, I think that’s the most likely scenario.

Their car went off the road, or is submerged in water.

Well, in that situation, if you were KR, wouldn't you have driven the same route that JR & JR would have taken to get from the storage facility back home to see if there were any signs of their vehicle itself and/or looking for skid marks or other indicators of a vehicle having gone off the road?

I would have driven it multiple times. Heck, if it were my missing family members, I would have probably walked that route, too, looking for signs of their vehicle having gone off the road.

I'm wondering if KR did so or not.
