FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WMTV)--- Authorities issue a Silver Alert for a missing Fond du Lac man.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office said 73-year-old John C. Mason left to go for a drive on Thursday morning around 9:30 a.m., but he hasn’t returned home. He is usually gone for about an hour or less. He frequents Bublitz’s Family Restaurant and Lomira High School.

Mason is 5’8” tall, weighs 238 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a red sweatshirt, green jacket and a baseball cap. He wears eyeglasses.

Mason is driving a 2007 green Toyota Camry with Wisconsin license plates 744 JVG.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mason is being asked to call the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office at (920) 929-3390.

Silver Alert has been canceled for 73-year-old John Mason of Fond du Lac. He was last seen around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, December 7th — and was located safe in Door County Thursday evening.
