Post about Jon from Waupaca Sheriff's Dept: Waupaca County Sheriff's Office

Note in the comments people are naming names. I won't repeat them here. But if you google the one name that pops up a lot, there's some insight into their behavior that suggests we won't find Jon easily.

Updated again on NaMus, looks like circumstances were rephrased: "Jon was picked up from a residence in Waushara County during the early morning hours on Friday, March 6th, 2020. He traveled with two other individuals to a residence in King (unincorporated), WI. Statements received by Law Enforcement state that Jon left the residence by himself on foot at approximately 8am and has not been seen or heard from since."

That person that is named by locals seems likely to be very high on LE's radar, AND her abusive ex-boyfriend I'd bet. IMO

I wonder, did the other two individuals stay at the residence after Jon left? Or did one of or both of them leave after Jon left at 8 am? Did one or both leave on foot or in a vehicle? Why did they go to the residence in the first place? What happened while they were there? What are their names? Are we to believe Jon went out in freezing weather on foot two hours before he was due at work which was 23 miles away? Why didn't the person driving the car that took him to their (that person's) residence give him a ride? What residence in Waushara County were they coming from? What were they doing at that residence? What time in the early morning hours was that? Why does that information conflict with informstion that he was last known to be at a house in King, WI (Waupaca County) near Wally’s Bar? Were any of them drunk or under the influence of drugs? Why hasn't law enforcement revealed any of this information? How do they expect anyone to give tips or help solve the case when no one even knows who was involved? The Waupaca County Sheriff's Department needs to come forward with more information.

I think, maybe, that LE thinks they know who did it, and are needing a body to bring charges. I'd guess those charges would be against the two that last saw him, or maybe one of them. MOO

I agree, they may suspect who did it, but, IMO, after five years, without any new leads, they can't expect any new information without releasing who else is involved and more specific details surrounding the case. This case will probably turn into an unsolved whodunit case like their 40 year old 1985 Iola Police Chief Michael J. Schertz case where he was arrested for the murder of Officer Gerald Mork, who, in my opinion, Mork was going to turn him in for stealing weapons from their evidence locker over the years..

No further info beyond remains found in Wautoma. Closest known missing person is Jon. Death investigation underway after human remains found on Wautoma property
The location where the skeletal remains were found, in a field behind Aurora Health Center, 900 E Division St, Wautoma, WI., is about 24 miles away from where he disappeared. Jon's last address on WCCA was on 18th Ave in Wautoma, just .8 mile south of where the skeletal remains were found. That's a 17 minute walk.

“KING, Wis. (WBAY) - The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office announced an arrest in a six-year-old disappearance case.

Jon “Jake” Morgan was last seen in King on March 6, 2020. He was reported missing two days later. He was 22 years old.

The sheriff’s office didn’t provide any details about the arrest or the suspect. It wasn’t releasing more details from the ongoing investigation. They expressed deepest sympathies to Morgan’s family.“

Update from WSAW:

“According to a criminal complaint, on the day Morgan was reported missing, his half-sister said she heard that he overdosed at Desiree Osman’s house in the King area and was taken somewhere. She said Morgan didn’t pick up his paycheck, which was unusual.

The sheriff’s office first made contact with Osman the following day. She confirmed Morgan’s presence on March 5 but “was not forthcoming with information.”

Over at least five interviews during the investigation, Osman admitted buying heroin in Milwaukee on March 5 and giving it to Morgan after she drove back.

During one interview, she told detectives, “He’s dead.” In August, she admitted being the last person to see him alive. During other interviews she said she last saw him walking out the front door.

Investigators believe Morgan’s body was moved but Osman was too small and would need help moving his 5 foot 11 inch frame.”

Woman charged with providing drugs that led to man's 2020 death; body still missing

This has been rumored to be the case all along. I have driven past the house hundreds of times and everytime I said a prayer that his family may find peace. Now I hope they can find his body to give them closure.
Agreed, I saw rumors about this person and this scenario a long time before this. I see why they took so long, since it's going to be a no body case.
