The bones (legs, feet and arm) were thought to have
been in the lake for about a year. They belonged to an
adult female over 20 years old, between
5’1” - 5’6” (more specifically, 5’2” - 5’4”) and showed no sign of physical defects, disease or trauma.

Some of the bones were buried as deep as eight inches in the mud on the bottom of the lake. They were found scattered in a circle about 100 feet in diameter in water about 3 feet deep. No weapons or other items were found in that area.
Before determining it was a female, Christopher Winkler was ruled out based on height. Chris was 6’4” and this person was no taller than 5’6”.

Marchelle Hansen went missing in November of 1987, she was 23 years old and pregnant. She went missing from Phillips, which is almost 300 miles from Kansasville. However, she grew up and had family that lived in Random Lake, WI which is only 70 miles from Kansasville.
here is a good article about her disappearance. I don't think its a particularly compelling match, but might be worth a rule out.
Janet Robinson went missing from Green Bay in the spring of 1985 (about 200 miles from Kansasville) and was 5'2" and 40 years old. I can't find much info at all on her case, so nothing particularly compelling. In fact I was so disturbed by the lack of online information in her case that I emailed the investigator asking for further information, so I will update as I get that. Nothing compelling besides biostatistics due to lack of information.
Candace Wright also went missing from Green Bay in December of 1985. She was 38 years old and 5'3". There are few details available in her case as well, except that she had a "mental disability that required medication". I have emailed requesting additional information about her case as well. Nothing compelling besides biostatistics due to lack of information.
Kansasville is close to the border of Illinois, so I broadened my search to include missing women from Northern Illinois as well, since we all know how common it is for remains to be dumped across state lines.
Marcy Jo Andrews went missing from Chicago, IL in February of 1984 (72 miles from Kansasville). She was 24 years old and 5'2"-5'4". Per NAMUS- "According to prosecutors, on February 14, 1984, Marcy Jo Andrews and two other women went to Casey Nowicki's apartment at 2558 W. Iowa Street, in Chicago. Andrews met Nowicki for the first time that day. After some time there, Nowicki allegedly offered to drive the girls home. On the way home, they were involved in an accident in which Andrew's ankle was injured. Nowicki said he would take Andrews to the hospital, if the other two women would get the car towed.Instead of taking Andrews to the hospital, Nowicki took her back to his apartment, where he drugged and sexually assaulted her.Nowicki allegedly called a friend to help him put the body in the trunk of his mother's car. Andrews' body has never been found.Nowicki was convicted of her homicide in July 2005".
Kimberly Shambers went missing from Carpentersville, IL in April of 1987 (45 miles from Kansasville). She was 26 years old and 5'1-5'2". According to Doe Network;
"Kim was last seen on April 24, 1987, leaving her home in Carpentersville for a Kris Kristofferson concert in Merrillville, Indiana for the day, but she never returned home. Kim had won the concert tickets from a local radio station. It's unknown if she reached the concert because she had no vehicle. The $120 in travelers' checks Kim brought with her were not cashed. She also had not drawn on her Social Security allowance since her disappearance.
An employee at a Merrillville
Holiday Inn told police Kim had asked about bus service out of town. The employee told Kim the bus only ran local routes and did not travel to Chicago. The bus company did not keep a record of its passengers, so it's unknown if Kim bought a ticket." <modsnip: not an approved source>
These are the best potential matches I was able to find in a cursory search, but none of them jump out at me.
