Nobody has asked any questions.
I'm curious what time she was supposed to report for work on Friday.
The fact that they're plastering posters on Brady Street may indicate they think she was in route to her apartment.
Then again, the fliers are going up near to her work as well.

How much time did she have to spare between 9-10 AM and work?

The article reports that LE is focusing on the restaurant. Does that mean they believe she actually disappeared Thursday night/early Friday. Because if she went to her bf's (even if just a friend), why focus on the activities of Thursday night so much? LE must have a reason.

On Thursdays, kitchen closes at 10 PM but the bar is open "late".

Its located on Prospect Avenue, one block east of Farwell Avenue (last seen).
The address is 2101 N. Prospect Avenue.

There's a picture of Kelly with her mom on their site.

Le may have interviewed patrons and employees of the restaurant/bar to see if she interacted with someone there and if so who. She doesn't seem too committed to her boyfriend and maybe hooked up with someone she met that night. just speculating on why their interest in the bar.

True, we don't know where her mom got her initial information from.
Maybe the roommate. Like, 'Oh, Kelly stayed at blanks (male friend)'.
Upon questioning him maybe it became clear she didn't stay over at his place but left the bar with someone else.
In that case though, then who saw her on Farwell Avenue on Friday morning? Unless they were going by phone activity or something. I believe I read specifically that someone saw her Friday morning though. Or maybe it's been confimed she stayed at her friend's house but they found out the Kenosha guy she texted Friday morning had been at the bar the night before too.

She may have met him through the dating site and arranged to see him Thursday night and LE (or her mom) was able to track that communication already. In that case there's a good chance he was there and LE needs evidence. They said his phone is out of order so he can't be reached.

I sure hope she's safe and didn't go off in a car with him.

This article contains different information than what I previously believed.

The report explains that Kelly's mom spoke to her on Friday morning but Kelly didn't show up for work on Saturday. (I thought Kelly didn't show up to work on Friday.) Therefore, Kelly spent most of the day Friday and Friday night doing something, possibly with someone, that others weren't aware of (or maybe they were aware of her plans).

Kelly was last seen Friday morning. She wasn't due to work until Saturday.
According to another article, LE focused on her activity from Thursday night. Reportedly she slept at a local friend's place Thursday night.
According to the recent timeline, there's greater than a 24 hour gap from when her mom spoke to her last and when she was expected to show up to work on Saturday. Her hours aren't mentioned.

If her mom had info on who she was texting because mom pays the bill on the account, I don't see why she can't get more info from the phone company. Even if it took a subpoena, it should be faster because according to the phone company, mom owns that phone and is cooperative.

I also think that 24 hour gap and the guy just happening to disconnect over the weekend points to foul play. :( I suppose if he was going to run off with her or something like that, it's possible he could have cut off service so they weren't traceable, but it seems highly suspicious. I hope they have that info and are checking into this guy closely.

I don't know how what she was wearing would affect the investigation in a negative way. I agree on more info needed. Hope he can help Kellys' family.

What's his connection to Kelly? Is he the man she texted or her friend/bf? A drug house...yikes!

Yikes! Wonder when they will release his name and if he was the one she was contacting.

Apparently, the guy arrested is indeed the boyfriend/male friend she stayed the night with on Thursday night. He was also the last one to actually 'see' her. (So, what was the 10 AM on Friday about? A sighting or just the texting to the OKupid member?)

I can tell you what is being said locally and that is that this 38 year old Milwaukee man is a "person of interest' and the police have called off the search (FWIW, this has not been officially confirmed).

The thing that I'm musing over is the statement of his arrest being "unrelated drug charges that came to light in the investigation of her disappearance" and his charge is "keeper of a drug house"? So, perhaps she overdosed?

We have had too many deaths, by heroine overdoses. These are seemingly regular young adults (much like Kelly) and the state is aggressively going after the persons who supplied the fatal doses. Of course I could simply be jumping to conclusions, given the recent tragedies around the Milwaukee/Waukesha communities and suburbs.

I've seen on TV before where LE is suspicious about somebody's involvement in a murder case and they hold them on random other charges (parole violation, drugs) while they investigate.. does that happen in real life or do I need to watch less TV?

yes but only if le has probable cause to charge the person in question with something. if not the person would not be arrested.

Makes me wonder if the guy who disconnected his phone could have been involved with drugs too

The drug arrest is scary, and even scarier is the fact that surveillance video shows Kelly entering the building, with no evidence of her leaving. It's unlikely Kelly left that building of her own accord. So many things could have happened- including a drug overdose her boyfriend tried to cover up.
