WI WI - Kelly Nolan, 22, Madison, 23 Jun 2007 #2

By "there", do you mean Boston? Or Madison? And don't stop researching, the more we know, the better. UW-M has summer sessions May 19-Jun 15, 2025. We don't know if he took any summer courses. I'm sure LE has checked that out. I think it's significant that an accused serial rapist, Matthew Nilo, lived right across the street from Nolan's apt. at the time she disappeared.

He did live on campus at 716 W. Dayton St. in Feb of 2007 according to WCCA. Wisconsin Court System - Case search

Sorry for lack of clarification - I am looking for proof that he was in Madison the last week of June

Does anyone know whether authorities looked at video footage from the Lava Lounge (if it exists)?
News reports say they did. I don't believe she was seen in any of the videos.

What I wonder about is why did Nolan take the route she did? It sure wasn't in the direction of her apartment. I think she had another destination other than going home. I wonder what the story was of the second man. He obviously parted ways with Nolan somewhere on Gilman. Why?

We're missing something in the gray area of Gilman St and State St. where Nolan was last seen on the 500 block of State St between 2:20 am and 2:30 am. according to witness accounts. It's a three minute walk from the Lava Lounge to State St. So she would have gotten to State St. by 2:03 am, more or less. She left the Lava Lounge at bartime (2 am) and was seen on the 500 block of State St between 2:20 and 2:30 am. So, potentially, she was in the State St area for at least 27 minutes. So, what was the attraction? She had been at State Street Brats, 603 State St., earlier that night with her friends. Maybe she went back that way tosee if they were still in the area?
The "walking her home" story just doesn't add up. We also haven't been told the exact time of death. She could have been held alive somewhere for several days. She could have also gone to an afterhours party or was kidnapped right off the street. I also think it's weird that someone would come up to Nolan and Andrew and say "Hey, I know her. I'll walk her home." In a town where she had only lived a month. Two people who said they were going to walk her home. And neither of them did. IMO, I question their real intentions in light of the fact her apartment wasn't in that direction. She must have been quite drunk. And they never ended up walking her home.
