There must have been a reason for this lovely 22 yr. old college girl to be fired from her job.

Her friends know the reason and so does her sister.

Could it be the same reason she wasn't ready to call it a night at 11:30 PM when her friends were ready to go home?

Why won't her sister tell what was said in that late phone call and instructs others not to tell any information of where Kelly was or what she said?

The only reason I can think of them wanting to cover for her is drugs or intoxication.

It is possible that she has a drinking problem, and being fired may have caused her to become chronically depressed, making her a danger to herself! It's a possibility.

Meanwhile, having the sister interviewed by the media is a waste of time, since she has nothing to say!!!

i love gretta. i am glad she is the spokesperson to track the missing and fox. could she have said something to her sister about who she was leaving with? is a possibility that the sister has told the police but cannot tell anyone else?

You're right. It's a waste of time now as she's probably told us all she can or wants to. She did say a day or two ago that Kelly was very happy during the phone call...so maybe not depressed.

Substantial reward for information leading to return of Kelly.
Bar had tapes for inside and outside of the bar. Turned over to police but never viewed by bar owner/person.
Megan, friend, works with Kelly at Madison Club. Kelly was happy, nothing unusual, on day she went missing. Kelly was on the more responsible side. Not unusual to separate from friends at bar. Kelly would never take off. Completely out of character for her.
That was it.

No parking lot for bar. Not uncommon in downtown Madison. As previous posts mentioned, she probably didn't drive that night.

However, public parking lots are VERY well-lit as are other areas in downtown - more so than other cities. But of course there are lots of dark spots. Plus, there's generally a lot of people around late at night, although less so in summer.

MADISON - The family of a missing college student has information to make them believe she’s alive.

Twenty-two-year-old University of Wisconsin-Whitewater student Kelly Nolan disappeared on June 23. She was last seen in downtown Madison out with friends. Nolan is living and working in Madison for the summer.
Nolan’s mother, Mary Jane, and two sisters, Candice and April are optimistic they’ll find her.
“Kelly is out there. She will be found!” mother Mary Jane Nolan said.
Her family met with Madison police detectives Tuesday morning. They won’t say what police told them about the investigation, but they insist it is positive news. “A lot of information brings this smile and not tears. Kelly will be returned safely,” Mary Jane added.

The Nolan family said on Tuesday that a reward fund is being set up to entice more information. But details of the reward and who donated the money are as mysterious as the disappearance.

"We know there is one more person who has the tip, and we have a substantial amount of money for you and any and all information leading to the return of Kelly," Mary Jane Nolan said.

Mary Jane Nolan said that until final details of the reward fund and conditions for release of the money are hammered out, she can't reveal more about it.

This is the wackiest investigation yet.

The family is secretive about - Kelly's last known whereabouts - who she was with - her last phone call
and now even the amount of the reward.

But , not to worry, Mary Jane (Kelly's Mother) is quoted now as saying she is "absolutely sure Kelly will be found"!

Like the sister saying what she had said was "personal" and not important in the phone call, but then saying her location was included at the time. There are so many "read between the lines" statements and innuendos, it is hard to tell what is going on there. Is she missing or is she being held for ransom? Did she take off or is she with someone she knows...but he won't let her leave? Too many questions bouncing around this.

I have to agree with you. Is she missing or being held or left of her own accord and her family is pleading through the media for her to come home? I hope this isn't another Wilbanks case.

That is probably as close to the truth as we're going to hear. Its apparent to me that the sister is trying to protect the reputation of Kelly. . A little late for that when the National media is "TRYING" to help. Nobody likes people playing games & this is what it appears to be.

As we all know here at WS / we've probably seen & heard it all. This is one for the books......if they want help be truthful & quit masking the darn truth.

It is what it is.....either she was drunk / on druugs / raped / kidnapped / walked away / or with a one night stand. Its no big deal she needs to be found. I don't even understand how or why the cops would want involved if the entire truth isn't available.

If they want our help don't tell me the last phone call to you isn't important / that its personal. That to me is a total cop out. :banghead:
