WI WI - Kelly Nolan, 22, Madison, 23 June 2007 #1

I finally did see Greta last night. Serial killer? was splashed across the screen. Finally, someone is questioning it! She didn't have much new except that they are saying Kelly was dragged 25 ft. and "something else" happened there. (Reading between the lines, I would think rape.) They also said there was no apparent outward signs of the murder (ie. stabbing, shooting, etc.) which does surprise me a bit considering what they said when they first found her body. This would lean towards her being strangled (altho I would think there would be marks), smothered, or drugged. I can't think of anything else which would cause Kelly's death and not leave signs.

Poor Kelly / with all that LE know they should have enough evidence to have a warrant out for an arrest / can't imagine this being the perps first murder.

LE in Wi should be ashamed of themselves for not taking family seriously.If any of them read here.......NOBODY VANISHES WITHOUT A TRACE!

I think Kelly and Deidra were probably connected through the real Estate section. It just is too weird that they both were getting Apartments when this happened to them. Whoever did this probably befriended them at the bar. He probably wanted to get the deposit. How else could this be that both girls at the very time they are getting a place go missing?

It breaks your heart knowing someone so vibrant & young can be forgotten so easily. The media is definately not doing there jobs to keep LE on there toes.

I don't know if she's been discussed, but what about Becky Marie Marzo? She disappeared from Milwaukee December '03 after a night out with friends. Some of the details are different, and she's gone missing before. But she might fit the profile.

Investigators looking into Nolan's death say they are making progress in finding Kelly Nolan's killer. Police do not have suspect. They say the investigation has turned up new leads since the body was discovered, but they will not say what those leads are.

“A lot is going on, we just can't talk about it," said Madison Police spokesman Joel DeSpain.

Nolan vanished while out at bars in downtown Madison. She split up with her friends late in the night and went out on her own. Nolan's body was found 2 weeks later in the woods south of the city. Madison police believe there are people witholding information.

“We do think there are people who are in the community who know things, and haven't come forward," DeSpain said.

This one sounds like her boyfriend had something to do with it. She just found out she was pregnant and they had a rocky relationship to begin with.

Well, no kidding! Right from the start secrecy was the name of the game.

We all knew this and assumed it was to protect Kelly's reputation. Well, Kelly is dead. Her reputation no longer needs protecting!

So we might ask ourselves, why now are these people still withholding evidence? Don't they want to catch her killer??

Now, one wonders if it was Kelly's reputation they were protecting or something else we still don't know about.

Why conceal any information at this point unless it would point to some kind of wrong doing on the part of one of them?

Very suspicious!

Do I understand correctly Kelly had an DUI and had lost her license? Was she attending DUI classes to get her license back? Was she performing anykind of community service to help with her fines?
I remember when my daughter went thru those classes and community service, she was thrown in with some of the worst of worst. I drove her to those classes and there were some rough people there.
