Ashland County Sheriff's Office seeking missing person
March 27, 2021
''The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help finding missing person Kevin Rosin, age 32, of Odanah.
Early Friday morning, the Ashland County Communications Center received a report of single vehicle roll-over accident in the town of Gingles, just south of the City of Ashland.
Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene and located a vehicle on its roof. No one was located with the vehicle or in the area around the scene nor was anyone located at the local hospital.
At this time, it is believed the operator of the vehicle was Rosin whose phone was recovered with the vehicle.
Family members reported that Rosin had not returned home later in the morning of the 26th nor had he made any known contact with others.
The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office conducted ground searches on the 26th and search activities continue today with the assistance of the Ashland Police Department, the Great Lakes Indian Fish & Wildlife Commission, US Customs & Border Patrol, Bad River Tribal wardens, Sawyer County Search & Rescue, the Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office, the WI Department of Natural Resources, and volunteer searchers from the community.
Investigative efforts are ongoing and further information will be released when available.
The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information as to his whereabouts to contact the Ashland County Communications Center at (715) 682-7023.''
