Isn't there a woman who went missing a few years ago can't think of who it is who's phone was never found but supposedly she made phone calls to him far after her burned body was found.

Just was coming here to post the same info about the phone investigation

I feel like she must have been incapacitated somehow, chloroform or something?? IT makes no sense that she did not get out and if you read the search warrant she tried to call her boyfriend several times and sent him a text saying please hurry up....

Possibly drugged, and feeling woozy, therefore calling and texting her boyfriend before passing out?

CBS 58 has learned that Brucker's estranged husband, Giuseppe Safina, is the target of a warrant in the investigation. He's a memeber Milwaukee's famous Safina restaurant family.
Authorities say Safina and Brucker were in the process of going through a divorce and that Brucker had recently moved in with a new boyfriend.

Neither men are named as suspects. The husband was reportedly with their 2 children at the time of the fire.

Of course people can be paid to do things such as murder and arson...

Does his family have a mob history? Seemed very possible by appearances at the funeral.

Holy Cow!! It certainly does seem very possible! Imagine Sarah's parents having to go up against these people as inlaws.

Looks like the ex husband's dad is on the list as a soldier

Well, that website was certainly interesting! angelainwi, has there been any current reporting about the case? Not many comments on this thread since mobs and street gangs were mentioned! I used to be fascinated by "Donnie Brasco". Not to say this fire/death has anything to do with any mob activity but just that her FIL was listed on that website is rather intriguing. Do not want a TO so better not ask/say anymore.

They already issued a search warrant for those phone records. Wonder what is really going on with this case.

Almost one year before, in August 2012, the husband unexpectedly lost his mother, Rosa S., age 63.

Bumping this because I haven't heard one word still about the cause of the fire. It still strikes me a very suspicious no one else was in the building and it the fire was so fierce it burned so much evidence. Also, some of the names involved have...baggage

Medical examiner's report says Sarah Brucker had 0.28 blood alcohol level at time of death:

Wow, this just raises more questions for me. So she dropped her boyfriend off at his car, drove home (several miles), was home for 20ish? minutes before the fire started and her blood alcohol level was still at .28 when she died? That's stupor, barely conscious level, even with a high tolerance. That's a lot of drinks with dinner! Did she drink more when she got home? That level would explain her not getting out but I'm still shocked it was so high. I'm still waiting to hear what the cause of the fire was...

Here's a chart that explains impairment at different blood alcohol levels. It also says that for someone that weighs 120 lbs that would be 6-7 drinks.

Passerbys heard an explosion. No trace of ignitable liquids. All upstairs windows were painted shut. Former tenant says lots of safety issues with wires...

DA: No foul play in Sarah Brucker death

Town of Delafield — There is no evidence of foul play involved in the death of Sarah Brucker, 36, whose charred body was found in the living room of her upstairs apartment that was consumed by fire on Aug. 8, according to a preliminary conclusion made by Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel.
Schimel said investigators had determined there were no suspects who had a motive for Brucker's death before he received the autopsy report from the Waukesha County Medical Examiner's office.

Investigators had also ruled out arson as a cause of the fire, he said.

Schimel said Brucker's blood alcohol content provided him the answer to one of the biggest questions in the investigation; why hadn't she tried to escape the building.
