Hello Everyone,

I shared this same information w/ NAMUS and the La Crosse County Sheriff's Office today via email, but I'm attaching it here as well in case anyone wants to look into it further or has more details. No smoking guns or anything unfortunately, just circumstantial ties at best.

Cody Robert Christle
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

(Notably, this individual is noted as wearing 5 large rings, and a ring is one of the key pieces of potentially identifying evidence/information that was found with the John Doe)

James B. Mummer
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Jeremy Leon Jourdain
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

I parsed these down based on location, date of last contact, age, and other features. The most distinctive person here is Cody Robert Christle, given that it mentions "5 large rings," although Hinckley MN is a pretty far shot from where the remains were found in La Crosse. Nevertheless, the original report does mention the strong possibility of the remains moving downriver, so still worth looking into.
I always thought James was a good potential match too, and it looks like there have still been no exclusions listed for this UID.

I wish they’d remove him from NamUs. They keep updating his file but it’s still up there.

Do they remove people from NamUS if only partial remains have been found?

Sometimes, sometimes not. I know a case they are waiting on a family to have a missing declared legally dead because they only found a single bone. Dolowy case stays up as her head wasn’t found.

His MP profile (#MP62355) and UID profile (#UP105158) are both down as of today. You replied to a post from September 2024, shortly after these remains were publicly confirmed to be identified.
