This lady LaRoche is more evil than I thought.

There's a good chance she came across Peggy's Jane Doe posters on the internet and/or social media, and just stood back and did nothing while she saw hundreds of us over the years trying to give this poor girl back her name.
La Roche, 66, is scheduled to be sentenced on May 23. The jury took approximately 90 minutes to reach its verdict Wednesday.
WOW 90 minutes, do you think the jury sat at the table and said, "We all know she's guilty. What's an appropriate amount of time to wait to make it look like we deliberated?"

I haven't seen any local (Racine or Milwaukee) news stations saying they'd carry it.
Any information on a sentencing date?
That was pretty much confirmed in early reports. I remember that when the identification and arrest was announced, there were reports that someone submitted a tip saying that Linda had bragged about killing someone years ago and that no one knew who the victim was, so she would get away with it. This woman is truly a piece of work.

A sentencing hearing was held Monday and a judge sentenced the woman to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the homicide charge.
LaRoche was sentenced to an additional five years for the charge of hiding a corpse.
