I was advised by someone on here (They can identify themselves if they want to, I won't out them) this person went missing from the area after a party. She is listed as absconded, thus is missing. It is possible this Doe could be her.

This is taken from Dept of Corrections public records. I can't link it directly because of the java or whatever code they have. You can find it yourself DOC Home and then pick person in our care or custody.

This serves as a reminder we should check people who have absconded too when they find a body, since they don't always get a missing report because they are already flagged as missing.
You were right on with this one. I salute your sleuthing - kudos Keiri! Do we know yet if they are thinking foul play?

I don’t know, but my guess is if she came from a party, she had too much of something and exposure.

As a result of that search warrant two individuals were taken into custody by the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office.
Those two individuals are identified as Jerry L. Wendler 12/09/1967 and Wade A. Mc Lees m/w 01/14/1977.

WAUSHARA COUNTY, Wis. (WAOW) -- Two men were arrested in connection with an investigation into skeletal remains found earlier this month in Waushara County.

The remains of Tiffeny Schneider, 33, were found on March 13 in the Town of Leon.


That investigation led to a search warrant at a residence in Leon.

in a release, the Waushara County Sherriff's Office says Jerry Wendler, 57, faces several charges, including Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of THC 2nd Offense, Receiving or Concealing Stolen Property, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and a warrant through the Wisconsin Department of Community.

Wade Mc Lees, 48, was charged and arrested of Possession of Methamphetamine, three counts of Felony Bail Jumping, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


Mc Lees has three open felony cases out of Adams, and two open cases in Waushara County.

Wendler had a bail/bond hearing in Waushara County Circuit Court on March 28 where he was ordered to post a $2,000 cash bond.

March 28 as well, where he was ordered to post a $1,000 cash bond.

Neither man has been charged in connection with Schneider's death or disappearance.
