Richard J. Dilabio, 66, was reported missing on July 12 at about 9:30 a.m from the East Twin Lake Campground in Ashland County, just north of Clam Lake.

The Sheriff's Office says they have no new leads at this time.

Richard Dilabio checked into the campground on July 10. He was last known to be wearing a dark green shirt, blue jeans, and motorcycle leathers.

Dilabio is 5'11" and 163 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

The Sheriff's Office shared a surveillance photo of Richard at a Kwik Trip gas station in Park Falls on July 9.

Richard's 1990 BMW motorcycle was located at the campsite.

Overview
Located on a sparkling 110-acre lake, the East Twin Campground is a known family favorite. The area provides access to a beautiful portion of the Chequamegon National Forest in northwestern Wisconsin.

Facilities
The campground offers several single family campsites for tent and RV camping with many located on the lake. East Twin campground offers two tent walk-in sites for those looking for a somewhat more secluded camping experience. Each site is equipped with tables and campfire rings with grills. Accessible vault toilets and drinking water are provided. Trash collection and an aluminum can recycling bin are also available at the campground.

Natural Features
The campground is situated in a maple, birch and hemlock forest, with many sites overlooking the lake. A variety of birds and wildlife, including elk, eagles, loons, blue heron and other species, make their homes near the campground.

Recreation
A variety of recreational activities are available, including fishing, boating and swimming on the adjacent lake. A boat ramp is located about a half-mile east of the campground, providing access to East Twin Lake and also features a walk-in portage to West Twin lake which is located just outside the campground. Largemouth bass and pan fish are akin to the body of water, as well as an occasional musky or other freshwater species. Miles of hiking and mountain bike trails are located nearby and just down the road is an established Blue Heron rookery.

The article in Post #1 said that Richard was a Bonduel man, so I mapped a route from Bonduel, WI, to the Kwik Trip gas station in Park Falls, and then to the East Twin Lake Campground:

It's been over a year now that Richard's been missing. I couldn't find any recent updates. Hopefully they'll find him soon.

Richard Dilabio of Bonduel, Wisconsin was last seen on July 10th, 2019 when he was checking into East Twin Lake Campground in the Township of Gordon, just north of Clam Lake.

Richard is a white male, 5’11”, and 163 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark green shirt, blue jeans and motorcycle leathers.

Authorities received a call from a U.S. Forest Park Ranger around 9:30am on July 12th, 2019 reporting that Richard, who was a camper, was unaccounted. Officials conducted a search of the area and did not find any signs of Richard.

Richard was riding a green and yellow 1990 BMW motorcycle, which was still at the campsite.

Other searches were conducted in the area in subsequent months but nothing was found.
