We need to know more about this car. Where in Death Valley? When did they find it? Was the car stolen? Was it sold? What kind of car? I’m trying to find some reporting on it either in California or Wisconsin without luck.
Do you happen to know what the lawsuit was about, or who was involved?I am a family friend.
Richard was not a Dahmer victim.
We do not have any reason to suspect he was the victim of foul play.
Could be. Distance in this case doesn’t matter too much since they think he left town. Oddly they list the eyes as brown or grey, but that picture looks blue.

I agree, and post mortem the eyes changeI feel like NAMUS eye color is often not reliable...I think "hazel" is used interchangeably for brown/grey/blue sometimes.
I submitted this as a possible match and it is being dealt with by doe network.I apologize I thought I read burned but it does not say that just badly decomposed, I still question if he was murdered by someone who had issues with him and then left him in a cornfield or just someone who stole his car and killed him and hid his body.
I know the one, I submitted that as a possible match to Christianson. There must be more to that corpse they aren't releasing publicly. There is a John Doe case in the WS Unidentified threads about a male in his late teens or 20's found inon or near an Island by Fort Snelling, Minneapolis, Minnesota. In March 1977. Not much other information. He was thought to have been in the river for about 5 months prior to discovery. There is a new DNA initiative underway.
Hi, do you know if he had any tattoos, by any chance?I am a family friend.
