Wow.

From presser: Sheriff got emotional about Christmas, saying it would be a gift to his kids for him to come home.

  • #383
From presser: Question was asked why bother with this if it's a domestic situation. (Sheriff gave a non-answer, imo, which I think indicates they are working with Feds on a bigger case, just my opinion.)
yeah would LOVE to hear an FBI conference.
cause the sheriffs office may act like they dont know anything and they want him back
but the feds are working behind the scenes and have ways of knowing where he is

I don't get the train of thought here, the local sheriff's office's one I mean, and it might be because I come from another culture. To bring him back for what? communicating with him on a daily basis, what for?

He is lucky I am not running anything there. All he would be getting is an invoice to be paid immediately, charges, and notification that his US citizenship has been revoked. Someone who behaves like this is an appalling representative/ambassador for a country and he has betrayed so many people. Tell him ''Good luck in your new life in Uzbekistan or wherever, and good riddance!''

Let's spend resources and time in people who are genuinely missing due to circumstances beyond their control.

PS: The gentleman just finished the conference and got all emotional, he is a good man.
I don't want to keep repeating myself but I think the plea to come home is to avoid the trouble of having to get him, especially if he's in a country that wouldn't cooperate with USA - and I think that local LE are taking this friendly, emotional approach in coordination with Federal investigation working in the background on a bigger case. My opinion only.

I think he's in a place the feds can't access so, hence, the local plea for Ryan to come home.

Nah. Not going to be a nice homecoming.
seriously i wonder if hes talked to the wife or kids yet
or just the police
cannot imagine him not taking to them, but that is a whole lot of stress for the family

Feds were working with them from the beginning and probably have already done a psych analysis on him
no way they just got him on the phone, there was a lot of behind the scenes stuff that got them there and got the woman to make contact (and they made it seem like it was the same woman

I think he's in trouble with the Feds and they're letting the local LEO lure him home.

sheriff said he hasn't spoken to them
that is absolutely screwed up and makes me sick
he is a total 🤬🤬🤬.
try to save yourself and wont even talk to the kids
(they probably want nothing to do with him either)

Do you mean previous trouble or trouble arising from faking his own death?

What's he going to say to them? Like, how have you been, dear? How're the kids?
Don't think so. He tried (or is trying) to carve another life for himself w/o paying for a divorce or child support.

Doubtful he has a mental illness. He is just a conniving, rotten husband and father.

From presser: Ryan's plan might not have worked out as he planned, but he's smart.
he's not smart if hes talking on the phone to LE period.

The Sheriff and his office seem like good people.

What I didn't hear at the presser is any indication that RB feels remorse for putting his wife and kids (and other family, if alive/applicable) through this. (Watching this presser, my heart is absolutely breaking for the wife and children.)

What I did hear is that he's concerned for *himself* in how the community may judge him. (No surprise that he seems to care only for... himself.)

Seems like a midlife crisis but with a bigger bang.

My words to his girlfriend: If he can do this to his wife and children, he can do it to you too. You should dump this sad sack of a man and find someone better.

MOO.

It's bad enough to walk out on one's marriage...

But one's children? I hope, should she choose to go this route, she's granted full, sole custody forevermore.

Plenty of louses out there who walk away from their families. This one took out a life insurance policy with the intention to commit fraud so, yeah, no one is going to say "carry on, enjoy your new life in whereveristan". Least of which the insurance company.
