Found Deceased WI - Ryan Riebe, 25, Green Bay, 22 Dec 2017

Ryan Riebe, 25, has been missing since December 22nd, the same night a person reportedly fell through the ice on the East River.

This week Ryan turns 26, but instead of celebrating his family plans to continue their search for him.

Ryan was last seen Dec. 22 at Walgreens on North Military Avenue about 7:30 p.m. where he picked up money his father had sent to him through Western Union. He said surveillance video shows Ryan leaving alone on his Schwinn bicycle. The next day, Ryan's family saw reports from local news outlets that rescue crews were suspending their search for a man who had fallen through the ice on the East River. The police dive team searched that night and the next day with sonar equipment but didn't find anything. No body. No bike. Nothing.

So, am I correct in assuming that they think the person who fell through the ice may be Ryan?
Oh, his poor family, waiting until spring for answers, if it was him and if he is even found.

But a recent Facebook post describing Terry Riebe's efforts to find his son has prompted new interest in what might have happened to the 25-year-old who was last seen in December and may have fallen through the ice on Green Bay's East River.

The Brown County Medical Examiner's Office has officially identified the man pulled from the East River in Green Bay as Ryan Riebe.
