I have always agreed with what you’ve stated above. Eyewitnesses said that the truck looked like it belonged to Sara’s boyfriend at the time. Imo, the truck has always been a red herring, I believe Sara got off that bus, and made it home..I was reading the old articles I found, and they mentioned four children who said they saw a truck approaching Sarah... However, they didn't seem safe... The children may have misinterpreted the situation... It was Sarah's stepbrother who alerted Sarah's mother that Sarah never came home. However, we know the bus dropped her off just 100 meters from her home...
The Charley Project report mentions allegations of sexual abuse against Sarah by her stepbrothers... In 2017, police searched the property of Sarah's mother and stepfather... I wonder if anyone with remorse came forward. It's possible Sarah entered her house after getting off the bus and found something shortly after...
I think there's also a rumor that stepfather Jim has something to do with this case... controlling and very aggressive with Sara...
whatever it is
Rest in peace, Sara
Yes, surely the stepfather invented the van story as an alibi... it could have been any van... just to rule himself out as a suspect... although they're both already dead... I think some brother or stepbrother knows the truth and the worst part is that he'll never confess to anything...I have always agreed with what you’ve stated above. I read somewhere, but I don't recall where, that the friend who said the stepfather was with him later took back his statement, and said he only did it because he was afraid of the stepfather. There was something sinister going on in that family, IMO. However, the stepfather and the mother are gone, and, weirdly, they passed away so close together, and of the same cause (COPD).Yes, surely the stepfather invented the van story as an alibi... it could have been any van... just to rule himself out as a suspect... although they're both already dead... The Stepfather, Jim Lambert, was with Brian Bowes in Stillwater, MN overnight visiting the owners of Cascade Camps (located on Rainy Lake, Ontario) when Sara disappeared. While there have been doubts cast on whether or not they were actually in Stillwater, law enforcement has more or less confirmed this was true. Bowes always maintained they were in Stillwater. Doubt crept in when the aging host could recollect clearly.I read somewhere, but I don't recall where, that the friend who said the stepfather was with him later took back his statement, and said he only did it because he was afraid of the stepfather.
