Other than an obituary for her father from 2023 in Iron Mountain, where she is named with other family members surviving I couldn't find any missing reports in the news, or missing posts on Facebook from friends or family. I wondered who reported her as missing.

I just checked Dickinson County in MI. In Iron Mountain (Dickinson County 41st Circuit court) a case (Case ID 2006-0000014336-DS) back in 2005 that concerned child support that was settled in 2006.

This second separate one might be of concern. There was an additional civil case from 2015 (Case No. 2015-0000018432-DS) involving support/custody of a child. It appears she initiated court action and it involved different a man than the 2005 case that was closed. A motion was then filed in 2021 to amend custody. A motion and order to show cause for contempt was filed in August 2022 and there continued to be motions/orders and hearings related to that case included a failure to appear, with the last court record dated April of 2024 for a "Show Cause Hearing". IANAL and never played one on TV (or radio, stage, etc.) but seems that this latest case just keeps on and on ("closed" doesn't mean it CAN'T be 're-opened,' right?) -- perhaps 'someone' just got tired of it....

Frankly, the couple of family court cases turned murder cases in my experience (more than 2, sadly) and many I have seen start near the beginning. If someone can't control themselves enough, they usually snap early on. But she might have skipped town over fear it was going to not go her way.

By the way, heard back from Neenah, they got the picture.

I did find the names of the 4 kids, different last names. Nothing in WI CCAP for her, so everything appears to be through Michigan courts for all 4 kids. Looking for the dad's info or boyfriend info that may be involved. Did they find a cellphone and where was it last found? Who was she living with? Are her kids with her in Neenah or are they in Michigan.
Her dad has passed away. She has siblings.

Keiri - LEO must have other info as to why she disappeared - could be suicide, homicide or she just decided to take off.

It appears a bench warrant was issued for Shanell back in April 2024. She was in contempt of court. The warrant may still be active.

It doesn't appear she has active relationships with her siblings after doing a little digging on their social media sites. She may be estranged from them.

Her NaMus case was updated today but not with anything we can see. Of course, they didn't use the photograph I sent or anything. I really am starting to dislike some people at Neenah pd.
