A 32-year-old Almond woman was sentenced April 14 to two years in prison for neglecting a child, resulting in sexual assault.

Chelsie R. Lehmann pleaded no contest to the charge Feb. 19 and was found guilty in Portage County Circuit Court. Additional charges of harboring a felon and encouraging a parole violation were dismissed but considered during sentencing.

Portage County Circuit Court Judge Louis Molepske Jr. also sentenced Lehmann Tuesday to three and a half years of extended supervision to follow her initial confinement. She was given credit for 212 days already served in jail since her September arrest.
