We are asking the public for assistance in locating a missing Wisconsin woman who was last seen at a residence in Enid.
Stephanie Rene Wallace, 23, of Spring Green, WI, was last seen at a residence on North Adams on June 5.
She was reported missing to the Dodgeville Police Department in Wisconsin and has been missing from there since June 2. We are assisting the Dodgeville Police Department and began our own missing person investigation.
Wallace is 5-foot, 6-inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds and has light brown hair and blue eyes.
We ask anyone who has had any direct contact with her to contact Sgt. Aaron Barber via email at [email protected]. The case number is 2021-4777.

I think the job/distance issue was clarified, but keep in mind she could work from home and her company city/state is their main location.

As for men from other countries on her FB, I get requests all the time from “men” in random places around the world. They’re sent by bots I’m guessing, probably trying to do info gathering. Being described as “low functioning” as an adult might mean she’s childlike and excited by friend requests so she accepts them without question.

The new FB page (link above) has a profile pic uploaded on the 2nd May, (which is 1 month before she went missing) and 2 different Arabic men have commented on it. One lives in Egypt, another in the UAE.

I wonder why she is allowing them to be friends with her? It sounds like it has the potential for nefarious doings with sending online photos of body parts and the like...

I can't see why else these men would want to be friends with a much younger American girl who lives on another continent.......

If you look close someone from Enid is in there, with three different accounts, but its the same person. (Her mother already had an interaction (on FB) with this person. Its not the person the mother suspects by the way.)

What happened to last seen in a family members car at Walmart!!! Now last seen is at a residence? Why would that be I wonder? No footage to show she was in the car? She went to a residence after leaving the car? I don’t like when there are different last seen stories!

The initial report stated she was last seen in a car at a Wal-Mart parking lot in Dodgeville. She was gone once the relative came back out to the car. The same initial report stated that she possibly was seen in Enid, OK (750 miles away) 2 days later.
Based on the latest report, I assume LE confirmed the sighting of her in Enid at someone’s home.

Enid Police is assisting the Dodgeville Police Department in the search for Stephanie Rene Wallace. They also began their own missing person investigation.

Stephanie Rene Wallace, 23, of Spring Green, WI, was last seen at a residence on North Adams on June 5.

The Kay County Sheriff’s Department shared information stating that Stephanie was possibly seen with a male subject in the Ponca City area earlier this week.

Sheriff’s Office and Dodgeville Police Dept. are asking for the public’s help locating a 23-year-old woman who could be at risk.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Stephanie Rene Wallace was last seen sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of the Walmart in Dodgeville. She had been waiting for a family member, however by the time that family member returned, Wallace was gone.
Wallace was last seen wearing a grey tank top, denim jean shorts, and had a brown purse, the Sheriff’s Office stated. She was described as standing 5′6″ tall, weighing 140 lbs., with blue eyes, and straight, long brown hair.
Authorities explained that Wallace was a low-functioning adult who has a history of epilepsy and is prone to seizures. They noted that after she disappeared, the medications she takes daily to prevent seizures was left behind.Wallace lives in the rural Dodgeville/Spring Green area.
Authorities added she may have been seen in the Enid, Oklahoma, area two days after her disappearance, but they have not confirmed that sighting. Wallace, however, does have ties to that area.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Iowa Co. Sheriff’s Office.

Indeed she is now 14 days without her medication. I just wonder what (or whom) made her suddenly leave for Enid.
It is humbling to see that her mother is doing everything she can to make this disappearance known to the public.

ETA: Looks like she left on her own; she said she was aware people were looking for her but didn't think it was a big deal.

Sounds like she is fine, definitely an adult, perhaps slightly “more competent”, than her family suggested… I am glad that she spoke with her mom, and I am sure that everyone concerned about her has made arrangements to get her the medication she needs. On another note, I truly hope that this will stop all the “ Vague racial / ethnic questions regarding her friendship and romantic choices that appeared earlier in this thread from “concerned sleuthers “, who decided to examine her Facebook pages .

She could have picked up an emergency dose of medication at any branch if it was a chain like Walgreens or CVS that operate in multiple states that share databases. I know I have gone on vacation and forgotten a needed med and they were able to fill it in another state like 1 time.

The fact that she knew she was the target of a police search and didn’t think it was a big deal, makes me believe her parents’ description of low-functioning. My opinion only, of course.
