The baby boy was discovered in an abandoned car seat around 2:30 in the morning on Tuesday. Police say the child is between 4 and six months old and was found wearing a grey Mickey Mouse shirt.

He’s uninjured, but police would like to reunite him with his parents as soon as possible.

This could be interesting. Maybe she relapsed?

Why in the world would they reunite him with his parents? Is that phrase just a tactic they use to bring the parent forward so they can press charges? No way should he go back to them any time soon.

Yes, I think they wanted to make the parents feel comfortable to seek the police department. No way they‘d just hand them the baby. At least I hope so.

She has a picture of the baby on her FB Page...I wonder if she’s the parent? Very sad.

Okay I just checked out her Facebook. Interesting comments and all. IMO she doesn’t want the baby and was trying to give him to another family. Yes it’s horrible and there are other options. Just glad she didn’t murder him. He might be better off with a family that would adopt him. He’s young enough to not remember being abandoned. If the mother and daddy are on drugs (speculation, not facts) maybe she thought he has better chances with another family. The safe haven law ends at 3 days.

Is it a booking photo or a drivers licence photo?

She had wealthy parents. Probably the only reason she still has custody. This is very sad and hopefully she'll seek treatment and her mom will take (and keep) custody.

People are commenting on her FB page.
Explanation for where father is could be in the comments. Sounds like she has been in a vicious cycle of drug abuse for awhile. In Dec post above, she says she has a son that she does not have custody of. This must be yet another child?? Poor kids!

I wonder if anyone has heard from her. She might be in danger. If, as some people claim, she has rich parents (I am not sure where that came from), why wouldn't she drop the baby off with them?

I really think this child will have a better chance being adopted out by two parents that will love him. No foster care. Just straight up adoption. JMO

Maybe her parents don't have much to do with her anymore?
