Not sure if this is normal (although I've found some local news stories don't go much further), but there has been no update since the first two days' reports. This includes no identification of the 40 year old's identity. My thanks to the poster here, because without this post, we would not link this to Dr. Batory.

I've done a little analysis, may have an idea of the other person, but not definitive. In addition, not sure the relationship; is it a personal friend, something else, or a former patient? Hopefully, the Wauwatosa PD will have an update, my understanding is there have been no updates because, despite the news reports of murder/suicide, the investigation is still considered open.

News article from JS. I feel awful for Dr. Batory's family, especially his children (son).

To note, Dr. Batory was an acquaintance of mine, and the last time I spoke to him (which was likely early summer), he was complaining about some physical issues with his hands. He also mentioned he was in a relationship with someone (man) which I now assume was the Henri Washington (the 40 year old) mentioned in the article. Still surprising, had no idea of the extent of his personal turmoil, although a mutual acquaintance told me he seemed frazzled the last time they saw him (maybe 2 months ago).

I don't know what leads a person down life's dark paths. The flip side of this is Dr. Batory was intelligent, genuinely cared for his patience, wanted to help people, and was empathetic to a person's issues. Prayers for his family and friends as they reconcile all of this.

Police release report about two men found dead in Wauwatosa. It cites drugs, sex and money issues.
