Wife sues miner's brother, tabloid over hospital photo

I really doubt she's doing this for the money, what was done with the camera & photo is despicable. Especially by his own brother. :furious:

I believe she's doing this to prove a point, that you can't stoop to such a low level just to sell a rag magazine. If I were in her shoes, I'm not sure I would do things any different. There would be hell to pay for a person who did such a disgusting thing to my family. This woman has been through hell and back with this situation with her husband and his fellow miners, and I'm not going to fault her for going after the NE & the brother. They deserve it. The money is a given, it goes hand in hand with a lawsuit. I don't believe she's doing it as a way to get easy money, it's to punish them for their actions and show them that what they did was despicable and wrong.

I never once thought she was doing this for money. I heard about this a week or two ago. I agree that I think it's more the principle of the situation......it's disgusting that the brother did what he did. He's the one that was money hungry, not her.

What are the grounds for the suit though? They've printed worse stuff than this before and have gone after even worse than this.

Unfortunately, the brother is the only person who I feel she CAN go after. The paper asked for him to get a photo and he did. They certainly didn't force him to do so.

Now that Randy spoke and told her to stop suing his brother, I think the suit will be dropped. Don't you think any attorney would tell her to go by her husbands wishes?
