Does anyone know how long LB was in Florida?

Hmm..I've been immersed in the horrible Zahra case and just popped in...this is interesting. I don't like the way this is worded:

Buchanan was to be deposed by prosecutors for a second time Wednesday about those records. However, Tuesday, Buchanan backed out saying she was ill.

Does that mean she has been deposed already and cancelled for day two, or that she has cancelled twice? If she's deposing by Skype she would have to be awfully ill to have to cancel I mean she could depose from her bed for goodness sake. I hope she does admit to falsifying...

Thanks I didn't realize that. What a loving mom - taking off on an out of state trip and leaving her family when there are thousands already searching. Sick. Well, she's inserted all right, but sounds like she's not liking her fame.

Oh my I certainly hope she overcomes her sudden, totally-not-suspicious "illness"! At any rate, I'm hoping she goes to jail and they get to the bottom of this. I don't consider her another victim of the Anthonys, but it's yet another person who has ruined her life, for some BIZARRE reason, to try to set a child murderer free. Unbelievably disgusting. Wouldn't a responsible adult want their friend's daughter or son to face jistice for murdering their child? I don't understand these people.

That was my thought ... the Defense need LB to delay in the hope they can turn something up from the TES records to counteract any negative story or save LB.

I believe the easiest way to get her to fabricate documents would be to convince her that the state was fabricating evidence to prove ICA's guilt, but she is really "innocent." That ICA was being framed by "powerful forces," and the only way to fight fire was with fire. This would be much easier if she were a distant friend already, as she might not know the true nature of ICA.

We have seen how easy it is for some to believe conspiracy theories, they would just need to convince one gullible person that ICA was being conspired against and justice just needed a little hand to prevail.

And the person most capable of convincing her to pull such a stunt would've been Cindy.

The State started her depo by skype on August 16th, but had to stop it and reschedule it to finish it when Laura told LDBurdick that she had a document, which TES did not have, Mason did not have, and the State had not been given a copy of. Laura's attorney in NJ had to FAX the document to LDB.
She canceled the one time, on today's scheduled depo date, due to "illness".

He says do you see the Defense names or signatures on any of those papers?
He is saying that this is all on Laura B.

But didn't he say something along that line regarding the phone call between him and (can't remember her name -- but she is in jail) ________??? Every time the man has tried to cover up something there is a ting of lie invovled, ie, duringthe court whenever he mentione "scheduled depos" LDB stood up and stated that the intended didn't receive notice....I think that the ball may be falling really really quick on him and he better come up wth something besides "I forgot" or some other interesting story (read LIE).....the SA is watching him and making sure as an officer of the Court he does tell truth....hopefully though I hope someone (anyone really) finds out that telling lies can bite you in the _____:croc: and it is better to tell the truth....even though I feel they are to afraid of the truth.....:furious:

Forget about Laura, if Mason claims he saw that document in the TES records ooooooh weeeeee now that would be interesting, assuming it is impossible to be true since the document does NOT exist in the TES records. I want to see that from him or read the direct quote. I believe her if she says he said that, but the old Ronald Reagan quote is what I live by,
"Trust, but verify!" It would be beyond what Judge Strickland called posturing for Mason to claim to have seen it himself in the TES records.

I have looked through all the videos from 10/4 on, when they first started looking through TES records, and I can't find anything on Cheney Mason other than Kathy Belich saying that he said he saw it. Wonder why it is not on the videos. I think maybe he was being misleading.

I truly think he was confusing the fact that he has seen it before, with the documents they were looking through, not necessarily in the same place. Or, he just assumed it would be there, since he had already seen it from the SA. On purpose or by accident? no clue.

Nah, this guy has flat out lied before because, as an old "pro," he thinks he can lie to the media and it's okey doke-In some cases the defense can, but not when it comes to fabricating evidence.
When Baez won't touch it with a 40 foot pole, you know it's bad.

Has anyone searched the threads where she was written about on our forum a while back, probably in 2008? Back then we had people here reading her blog and commenting that she was looney tunes. She still is.

ETA, yes I bolded myself! The "casey didn't do it website" thread is in the parking lot, this is the thread where it was discovered that LB was a blogette, many moons before she started backing out of depos. It is debated there whether or not she is one in the same person, has to be, IMO.
