TODAY'S UPDATES:

Prosecutors may seek homicide charges against Casey Anthony in the disappearance of her 3-year-old daughter Caylee Marie, sources confirmed.

The state may present the case before an Orange County grand jury on Tuesday.

The grand jury meeting was previously scheduled, and prosecutors don't discuss cases that are brought before it.
In other news, Casey Anthony's parents, Cindy and George, met with investigators at the Sheriff's office yesterday. Her brother Lee Anthony was at the office today.

Welcome to WS MADJGLAW!

I forget to add the links all the time. If you want to add the link there is an edit button on the lower right hand side of the post.

It is interesting that CA and GA met with investigators yesterday. I wonder if that was their idea or LE's idea? And with LA meeting with them today, I am thinking that it was probably LE's idea. LE has questioned them already so I am wondering what that is all about? Were they giving them a last chance to say what they knew, change any errors in their statements before they took action???

I would also think the steering wheel would also be worth checking. BTW, I joined (without an invite, hope you dont mind SS) the WWYMD club.
The steering wheel would be a good place, too. However, GA drove the car after she did.

I don't mind at all!! That is what it is all about! Supporting Yuri and OCSO! They are the ones responsible for bringing Caylee home and putting Casey away. What Would Yuri Melich Do? He would slam the cell door and throw away the key! ;)

Hmm, that would be interesting considering Cindy washed all of the clothing that was in the car and left behind at TonE's house.

Being washed does not mean that some DNA might still be found. We have heard it would degrade it. Maybe CA always used cold water.:dance:

I really don't think she will take a plea at this time. I think she will roll the dice and see what happens with a trial. I think that if she is found guilty she may offer a deal for a reduced sentence (lying of course as to how she knows where Caylee's body is, I don't think she will ever admit guilt to killing her.)

This is EXACTLY what I think!

No, Casey will not be rearrested before the GJ convenes.
She will remain under house arrest until a decision is reached by the GJ.

Wouldn't you just love to see Judge Strickland get ticked off enough about all these motions on Friday, that he finds a way to throw her arze back in the slammer???? I know; I know; won't happen. But a girl can hope, can't she?:D

Yes! I'm so glad. I feel like she might want to lamb it.

This is almost as good as hearing about the GJ!!! Today is a very good day!!!

I wish we could watch it like the webcam!!!

Pink, this is the steps (Grand Jury) we go through when looking to charge for a capital crime. That's why I think (I could be wrong) they are going this route.
Theonly1 - A capital crime as in the death penalty???

This might be the first time I've disagreed with you Blink, but I see a trial in Casey's future. The Anthony family is too spunky to not put up a rip-roaring courtroom battle. I can't picture Casey admitting to doing anything wrong, it just doesn't fit for me. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. ;)

I ?think? you can agree to a plea deal and not admit guilt or doing anything -- just that the cards are stacked against you and you want to minimize the penalty (DP?).

I agree that the A family will want their day in court to fight -- especially Baez -- to play their hand, me thinks they do protest to much.

This is true.. you are right about GA.

Yep I could see it now... SLAM SLAM and no turning back!

Unless they have reason to believe she will harm herself or flee ... as some have anticipated.

Good Point. Or....she finally blows up and hurts CA, blamming her for her situation. KC will never take responsibility for her actions. I fear that everyone inside the Anthony house are walking, talking time bombs ready to blow at any moment.

It's one of two things:

1) They don't feel they have enough to charge her for homicide so they send it to a Grand Jury to determine, OR

2) They are looking to charge her with capital crimes (death penalty) and this is the only way to do so.

I know what you are getting at ... but personally, I think that it is brilliant that they didn't take them away ... these weren't just items on a receipt ... NOW they are items that her family and friends (who she stole from to pay for) and even better, the public ... have seen and likely will continue to see her wear with unabashed arrogance ... flaunt it KC ... flaunt it!

What cracks me up is KC probably thought no one was the wiser, she had everyone fooled....oops, the whole nation now knows she stole that tacky 82 hoodie shirt she was arrested in and those gawd awful sunglasses..bawahahahah, that is freakin' hilarious. A Target thief. ROTFLMAO

This is excellent news.........

I have complete faith that LE has spent the last 3 months building a strong case against KC

If they've decided to move forward & present their case to a Grand Jury then they must be confident that not only will they get an indictment but also a conviction once the case goes to trial.

In my opinion LE has an "ACE" up their sleeve & KC will be indicted
