I'm glad I didn't see Dateline. It would make me too angry and I'd end up in the hospital!

In fact, the more I think about it the angrier I get. I don't want that b*tch to profit off this and really I don't want taxpayers to have to take care of those kids. I know it's not their fault, but I don't want to take care of them! I want Nadya to GET A JOB and for her parents to find a way to help pay for it. I want the IVF doctor to pay for some of it. I want the donor dad to pay for some of it too since he let her have those embryos and didn't go to court to get custody of them. So there!

That didn't even cross my mind... good catch!!!! LoL

Nadya's natural look was beautiful... (pre trout pout and Michael Jackson nose #3):

LOL....that is exactly whose nose I thought hers looked like since the first picture that I saw of her. I thought maybe I was just being snarky but it looks like you could overlay a picture and get an exact match!

She is prettier in her before PS picture IMHO.

She wants people to pay attention to their own lives and stop dissecting hers.

Um, it might help a little if she would quit giving interviews. Duh. :slap:

This woman makes me ill.

I had a friend (she has passed) that had her baby extremely early (like around 25 weeks gestation)... the baby's weight was barely over a pound. Well, that baby thrived with not one disability... a huge miracle by far. She's a teen with a high intelligence level, no physical issues... just a normal every day angel of a teen. I so hope that the Suleman babies have that luck... that they will thrive and win the battle of being a preemie, without the health issues that hit most.

:blowkiss: for the loss of your friend. It is good to hear her daughter has done so well considering her rough start.

I have been thinking the same thing about the octuplets. Because of the mother's actions, they are under a cloud of negativity. This will follow them for a long time. In the minds of some, they will always be "those babies born to the nutty mom". I hope people have the ability to help the babies without enabling the mom. And I hope the babies grow strong and healthy.

Disability for back injury. If she can carry 8 babies then why cant she work. My sister had back surgery(still working everyday until the surgery) and Docs told her no way could she keep trying to concieve for at least a year. She went back to work 3mo later. No mooching off of others. OK i guess my point is Why is she getting disability if she can pop out 14 kids in 7 years---thats a talent (to us infertile) not a disability.

She says her disability stopped while she was pregnant. I read somewhere that the workers' compensation insurance company hired a P.I. to watch her during her latest claim. I imagine her getting pregnant and carrying 8 babies kind of put the kabish on her disability.

A very beautiful girl. I can't believe she thought she needed any work done at all. I also can't believe that she is so oblivious to the state of the economy and how she is going to make it. Last year people got $637 on SSI and her three payments for the kids plus $490 in food stamps is not all that much to support six kids and one adult. I'd like to know what her other income was (the $1,500 per month) and how she even dared to have more kids.

She's oblivious because she's a spoiled brat who's expecting her parents to bail her out like they did with the first 6 kids. She figures her dad is going back to Iraq and that will help her azz out. Puleeze. This woman makes me soooooo angry. And she thinks we're all so stupid that we can't figure out she had plastic surgery? Did she use her student loans to pay for that too??

*taking deep breath and backing away from keyboard*

I think that may be one more of her lies....someone posted earlier that in California the law is that disability payments CAN NOT be taken away while the recipient is pregnant. So that whenever the issue came up that they were trying to stop the payments, all she had to do was to get pregnant again and they could not stop paying. In essence then, she WAS actually getting paid to be pregnant just like she told her neighbor she was.

I think this is going to be the real challenge. I feel bad for those babies. They didn't ask Michael Jackson to bring them into this world under such crazy circumstances.

Hi Less. How are you? our news reported that every time her work comp case came up for review she would get pregnant again and that the state could not act on her claim while she was pregnant. True or not? Only can say it was reported.

Her doctor reported to the state that her pregnancies only accounted for 10% of her back probelms and the rest was due to her injury during the riot at the mental hospital.

BTW, her benefits were still flowing as of this week. The state has been trying to get them shut off since August 08.

So what do you all think are the chances the state/cps will say to her that she has to prove she can care for her six and has the help/nurseries/etc... before she can take the 8 home? It seems that is the thing that SHOULD happen. It is no secret that her mom doesn't want to do it (understandably!), so the state can easily use that against her if she says her mom will help. If she has to prove herself first, she probably won't be able to. I really hope they can somehow be adopted, but through her selfishness they will probably just be drug through the foster system instead while she fights for her rights, but refuses to work or provide.

I managed to avoid this whole debacle because I knew it would really make me angry but I came across the Dateline interview last night and the first thing I thought was Angelina Jolie. How is it this woman does not have a job yet has had obvious plastic surgery which costs thousands of dollars. She is on disability yet she can sustain the strains of having 14 children?

I think she is in dire straits financially and thought that having a crapload of kids would be her free ticket. She looked at situations like Jon and Kate Gosselin and all the things they recieved when they had the babies and now they are wealthy as a result of the show and their fame. I think she has every intention of pimping out these babies for everything it is worth.

Ultimately the children are the victims here. I hope that somehow they are well provided for, well loved and have a stable happy environment to grow up.

I guess that is her "alternate way of making money." That's what she said in the interview shown on the Today Show yesterday. She has an alternate way of making money that works for her. Hmmmm, getting pregnant and making the state pay for them.

I wonder if Nadya's hired a good lawyer yet? If someone doesn't line her pockets pretty soon, it seems like the next *logical* step? (I use the term *logical* very loosely!)

Another thing I wonder is if any television stations are considering Nadya as being marketable for her own reality show? It sounds as though she isn't coming across very media friendly...

okay remember when I said there are no words to discribe this poor excuse of a mother, well there are and I just can't say them here. I just got thru watching dateline and all this woman's light are on and there is definitely no one home. Paying for invitro from paper student loans, paper state funds, paper food stamps. Planning on using student loans to support her children and go to school. How does that work!! I don't believe that she saved a bloody dime towards these invitro procedures. I am shaking so much it's impossible to key.:doh::doh::doh::doh:

The only nice thing I can say right now is that her children are absolutely beautiful !!!

Nadya should get in touch with Casey and Cindy they could probably advise her on PR people and Lawyers.

Sorry,it just felt good to say that..Hope no one take's offense.

She's going to need extensive help. Not just free nanny service for a year.

OT My oldest son was born 10 weeks premmie. He has had no lasting effects thank the lord and he will graduate this year from HS.

But, he was only one child born early. He was my second child and my oldest at the time was 11 almost 12 yrs old. I got up with him every 4 hours (for Months and Months) around the clock to make sure he ate. He had to eat so much formula every four hours and I had to document what he ate so that we could make sure he was gaining weight, eating right, etc.

Also, he had an apnea moniter because he had sleep apnea. I had to make sure it was set up correctly 24 hours a day and also to document that as well. He got several medications that he took for his breathing and other short term medical conditions that I had to keep track of with documentation. (He came off at 11 months)

What I'm trying to say is that my child required not only my full attention 24 hours a day but I also had my Mother and Father helping me. In fact they took classes in order to assist me with him.

But what we have here are 8 children. That will more than likely require that level of care once they come home and probably additional care that mine did not require.

Add to that you have six siblings already in the home that need love and guidance and the normal care that all children need with the exception of three that probably require additional care.

I'm sick to my stomach thinking about the welfare of these children. One person cannot take care of all of these 14 children. It just can't be done. It can't.

I'm beginning to wonder if she was a *test patient/study group*. Services performed gratis to give the doctor oppoptunities to practice and improve his skill. And many times the participants are compensated...

I don't know what IVF costs, but even with all her disability, student loans etc., I don't think she came close to enough money to pay for as many procedures as she has had...

Our news just reported she has a website set up with a place to make donations. I have not caught up this morning so sorry if it already posted.
