Dear Boyz Mum,

Thank you for your kind words :blowkiss:
and you and I are in total agreement about how completely irresponsible and outrageous it was for Nadya to utilize IVF to feed her "baby obsession". I feel very much the same way you do and this woman makes me sick!

I just wish Nadya could have been stopped in her tracks before any of this started! I can tell you one thing for certain: If she had been a patient at the same Endocrine and Fertility Center I went to for my IVF, she would have been turned away and rejected as an IVF candidate!! My Doctors required every potential IVF patient to meet several times with a social worker and highly skilled fertility counselors. The hospital affiliated with my IVF Center also insisted upon rational, thoughtful and ethical considerations when it came to IVF procedures and candidates. My DH and I were always treated with the utmost respect, but it was made very clear to us that IVF is a tremendously serious procedure and all considerations must be made before embarking on such a "journey" as this. I honestly think Nadya would not have made it past the first nurse to encounter her if she had been at my IVF center! Good, ethical clinicians in the field of infertility look at the entire family picture......not just the needs of the woman desiring pregnancy.

Love and hugs to all!!
Rain XOXO

PS: You may be amused to hear that the first picture in my daughter's baby book is a microscopic pic of her as an 8-celled embryo. "Yes Sir!! That's my baby!!" :)

Wow RainyGirl, you went through so much to have children. I have two that were not even planned. (which doesn't mean I love them any less). So it is difficult for me to even understand what you and your husband did and underwent to have a baby. I can't relate to your approach. But I can say to you that you should have a hug for your determination, time and money spent to become a parent. Thanks for sharing about a subject I know nothing about and will never experience!

I think Kate thinks so, too, and IMO, that's why she dissed Nadya.

I disagree. I don't think Kate dissed Nadya (if you're talking about Kate's appearance on the Dr. Phil show). I think she expressed genuine concern and fear for the situation. Whatever is going on in Kate Gosselin's life, I don't think she's dissed Nadya in order to delay the canceling of her own show.

The thing that bothered me the most about that video was, she came in the house, set the two babies down, and went upstairs. You see a couple of her other children sticking fingers in the faces of the babies, and no adult seems to be supervising. Of course, they were probably just off-camera. I certainly hope so.

I think it was really, really, REALLY odd that she set the babies down in the entryway by a wall near the stairs and then left them there to go upstairs to see her youngest children, whereupon her mother chastised her yet again. What? Leave babies unattended on the floor in an entryway? These babies are still fragile, correct?:confused:

The comforting thing is that staff from CPS is probably watching every video, and with good reason. I think there is eventually going to be a showdown. Nadya Suleman must continue to prove that she is a fit mother for those babies, not to mention her older children. Currently I just don't see it.

It really bothered me that she set the babies on the floor, but maybe that was so the older kids could see them better. I also was horrified at all the people there (inside the house) when they are supposed to be kept away from germs.

Apparently, the younger of the 6 was supposed to be asleep and his crib was in her room. When she opened the door, he was right there. I wonder if he was yelling and that's why she went upstairs - but we didn't hear anything on camera. Then she started telling the kid he slept in her bed, and that's when her mother said he has a crib. I thought her original plan was to put the 8 babies in the master bedroom? What happened to that?

Her mother was saying something about not enough blankets and nobody told them and Nadya shushed her because she didn't want any complaining on camera I guess.

It was all so staged - the nurses started to carry the babies from the car and instead someone wanted Nadya to carry both so they could get pictures coming in the door. So fake.

Maybe I'm overly cautious, but I always slip a hand under an infant's head when I pick them up and continue supporting it while I hold them. Nadya looked like she was picking up a sack of potatoes - she kind of grabbed them by the shoulders and hauled them up and sometimes the kids heads were rolling around.

She just doesn't look nurturing to me. I think the Angels in Waiting will find her very hard to get along with.

The babies are adorable, but if she gets a reality show I couldn't watch it because I find both her and her parents very irritating. I would be yelling at the tv.

She set them down in a very, very strange place seeing as how they are fragile infants - preemies just released from the hospital. Her older children started poking potentially grubby little fingers in the faces of the babies.

That's the problem! (For starters)

I haven't read any of your posts. So if I step on toes, I am sorry: it is not personal.

That video was disgusting. Not because of anything that Nadia did, but because of the behavior of the media. Their behavior is INEXCUSABLE, in my opinon.

I don't watch J & K or any other super family. (I do watch Wife Swap but will withdraw my application~ I'd be *lucky* enough to have to swap with the mother of a super family! Just kidding- I've never applied. :))

They'd send me back COD! lol :)

Anyway, I really hope that she doesn't land a show of her own. Aside from the large family, she doesn't have much to "offer" the viewing public, IMO. Is there anyone out here who would tune into a show dedicated to the Octomom? (I'm asking in all seriousness.) If the show could center around Nadya's psychological evaluation and treatment, then I would actually consider tuning in. (As long as Dr. Phil isn't anywhere in the picture.)

I agree that she doesn't have much to offer, but I think the draw will be the babies and the fact that she's such a freak. It would be interesting if they'd center a show on her mental health.

I am really concerned about the welfare of all the children, I know we all raise children differently, but I really haven't seen Nadya show love towards the children unless a quick peck on the cheek counts? In the clips we see, I am not sure if she has even spent a whole day at home with her children?

I'm sorry, I know I've repeated many things over and over, the story keeps spinning and yet I still haven't heard Nadya have a single "plan" other than for herself and the contributions, etc... I can't detect a single maternal feeling about her- except for the obvious contempt she aims towards her own mother.

Too bad Sigmond Freud wasn't still around- he'd have a hey day with this one!

You've said exactly what I've been thinking. I still think along with the fact that she likes having children (being the center of attention), it wouldn't surprise me a bit if she wasn't "thinking" about a multiples reality show when she was having those eggs implanted. J&K&8 have shown everyone that it's quite profitable to be the parents of multiples. I don't think J&K have the kids best interest at heart, and I think Nadya would jump at the same opportunity. The only good thing about J&K losing their show is maybe their children would get a chance to grow up away from the spotlight, which would be a good thing, IMO.

Errrrr, I don't think they had a key to the front door......

Yes, the video was disgusting.

She went to see a two year old that wasn't in his bed or crib that didn't have blankets and she shusshed her mum on that fact. She also let her kids that had hands on floors that many shoes had walked upon poke the preemies.

I don't see what you think is funny or logical.

it is,and just as inexcusable is Nadya and her family allowing it to occur.where was g-pa??? he should have been there to run everyone off!! (here in the south, someone would have had a shotgun! LOL).
maybe it's just me,but if I were the gmom,I would have tried to have been out there to greet and see my new gbabies coming in the door for the first time, even if I had to hold the one she was tending to.but I understand she was probably trying to shield him from all the excitement, likely so he would get to sleep sooner.so I'm not saying anything bad about her.I don't understand the late arrival though..what was with that, anyone know???any of the hospitals around here go for early morning discharges, and they would have been out by 11am at the very latest.
I do see it all as a setup though..even the 911 call.all I can say is I would have been very defensive about all those ppl being around my house upon my arrival.the parents of other multiples did not arrive home to a circus,as far as I recall.they came home quietly.

Anyone that would subject their premature infants to that type of media exposure is unfit to be a parent! She OBVIOUSLY did not have their best interest in mind. To have that many people in one small house and all those lights in the babies' faces right after they leave the hospital is pretty close to abuse and neglect in my book! I felt so bad for those babies when I saw the video. I'm even more disgusted with the media. I hope the hospital is aware of the enviornment these premature infants are being sent to. Sorry for the rant!

I came from a Childs Advocate meeting tonight. Now hearing laws upon laws, talking to lawyers & CPS workers, I think I understand what needs to happen.

THEY (authorities) NEED a strong record of the ongoings of the mother. The more eyes, the better. I believe that Gloria A has given this woman ALL the rope she wants to hang herself. I believe that negotiations went very poorly because Nadya wanted everything her way. So they gave in. They agreed to everything she wanted for the sake of the children. I think either way, Gloria wanted into that home to have it stringently monitored. I think there are some very intelligent people 'behind the scenes' quietly going about their business of making a good case against this crazed gongshow mother.

They gave in for the sake of the childrens lives. ALL 14 of them. Once its documented & video is great documentation, can't go to speculation... all the raw footage we don't see can be given to a Judge.

I believe that's what's going on here. And asking questions 2nite at my meeting, Nadya will lose her children according to various CPS workers who have been following her case. Having multiple nurses that can account for every second of whats happening within the home... will be invaluable.

So that's my take. I think she was impossible to deal with (ie: Angels initial demand was a stringent refusal to help her IF camera's were allowed in the home) has been thrown out the window.

Nadya, take all the rope you like hon. Because I for one think your children are in GRAVE danger and CPS better get it right the 1st time around before someone dies.

I sure hope you're right! Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if these babies end up with an infection. Don't know if anyone else saw it, but I noticed the gallon size jug of hand sanitier was being held and moved around, but not used

the grandmom is irritating as well,IMO.they're both screechy, and Nadya does not even talk like an adult.if you watch the videos of her enough, she's not hard to figure out.she's quite predictable with her manipulations.she agrees easily, always says uh-hm,usually before the person has even spit the whole sentence out.except with her mom;she's the only one with whom Nadya feels comfortable disagreeing with.everyone else she bows down to.

Yes!!! ( bolded by me)
So aggravating. I think I was watching the return home footage on The Insider last night. Wasn't she passing around the babies to the "reporter" and other crew??? I was apalled.

I am sure as the NICU nurses did their teaching to her of caring for preemies and precautions, dos and don'ts, etc..., she was "uh huh" "oh yes" and didn't listen to any of it.

I worked as a nurse on a postpartum unit some years ago. We did a lot of teaching (and not preem$ies). We always commented how the teen moms knew everything and didn't need to be told anything. And the mature moms were receptive to teaching even if it wasn't their first child. Very intereseting.

She sat those babies down on the floor like two twelve packs of pop and walked away!!!

they are;in the latest video,Nadya said the hospital came down really hard on her for that and said they would not be releasing the rest of the babies if that happened again.for one,no one else is supposed to be in the nursery except her and her kids.(and prolly gmom and gpa). But I think a couple of reporters had followed her in there.
so they are indeed watching her.

I'm glad to hear that. But the reporters were gathered around the sleeping babies when they were first set down in their car seats. No matter which room those babies are in, they should not be subjected to that. If the reporters did follow her in the nursery unwelcomingly, Nadya should have made them leave but she was to busy smiling for the camera. IMO

oh and there are more of them.
rofl, yea,I had seen them, too funny...esp the birth one!! and gotta love those octo wax lips..LOL!! I think plastic surgeons all over the world should offer a discount in honor of Nadya...lip plumping 8x their normal size for an 8% discount.refer a friend and get another 8% off ;) (wish we could do a smilie here w those lips! LOL)

I agree.surely she was versed in having them in a crowd of ppl..a big no-no for awhile.esp for a preemie.
I'm amazed at the women who do it though..I recall one baby I saw at a restuarant, and I complimented him,and the mother said 'oh,he was born yesterday',like it was no big deal.
