Woman in wheelchair and underwear misses flight at Will Rogers, blames TSA

Nitrates are present in some types of bombs; ammonium nitrate-based explosives were used in the bomb at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in (drumroll) Oklahoma City, as a matter of fact.

Omg..April 19th...so well remember that..I had friends die there.

Yep; will never forget it. I was in the City about ten days later and saw the Murrah still standing, its face sheared off.

Curious that a woman flying out of Will Rogers had nitrate traces on her luggage and wheelchair, which caused her to "have" to come back the next day, resulting in a free publicity photo-op.

My daughter and her husband flew in about that time and we were there after the 3rd day. It was horrific.

I cannot help but think this may have been a stunt to get her 15 mins of fame or another Playboy article. She seemed to be all dolled up in her matching sexy underwear and she has a good figure... Just a thought!

I agree. This woman is ridiculous. She would never had done that if she was carrying some extra weight on that body. This stuff really ticks me off. My 9 year old daughter flies frequently with her father and if a pat down of this magnitude is necessary to ensure a passesnger isnt carrying a bomb on board, then so be it. I would have no problem being searched. Im glad she missed her flight.

traces of nitrates on her luggage? what does that mean exactly?

oh and only uses a wheelchair in airports, for long distances, or when she has to carry something?

hmm ... I smell something fishy

Well, FWIW, people in wheelchairs and with other disabilities get to board ahead of the other passengers. I recall a time when my sister and I were traveling to New Orleans. We saw a young man wheeling a young woman in a wheelchair to board the plane ahead of the rest of the passengers. When we landed in New Orleans we witnessed the young couple leaving the airport terminal when the young woman jumped out of the wheelchair and she and the young man, who was pushing the empty wheelchair, ran very fast toward the parking deck to their vehicle, laughing all the way!
