What an incredible story -- kidnapped when she was 5 years old -- but has found her family again!!

OAKLAND, CA (KGO) -- For a Bay Area woman, this Thanksgiving will be a family holiday she thought might never happen. After being kidnapped as a little girl 55 years ago, she will soon be reunited with the loved ones she assumed she would never see again.

Dollie Henson says a neighbor of her family in Houston grabbed her and took her on a train ride when she was 5 years old. They ended up in Oakland and Dollie never saw her family again. However, one of her daughters had an idea on how to reunite Dollie with her family -- and it worked.

I don't know, PFF -- but Dollie says her kidnapper changed her name & her birth certificate.

Well, I cried right along with Dolly and her family!

It was a lot easier 50 or so years ago to get a copy of a birth certificate. Everything was easier before 9/11.

It's a shame that it wasn't realized that Dolly was a missing child when the kidnapper requested the copy of Dolly's birth cert.

I do wish them the best holiday season they've ever had.
