Woman who lost two children in 1958 bus disaster dies.

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Rebecca "Becky" Jarrell, who lost her only two children in the 1958 Floyd County school bus disaster, has died at 93.


Officials say she died at her home Sunday morning.

On the morning of February 28th, 1958, a school bus loaded with 48 elementary and high school students was headed to Prestonsburg on old Route 23. This is so sad.

Such a sad story but Becky has now finally been rejoined her husband and two children in heaven. RIP Becky.
