Hopefully, she is safe and taking some time to think about her behavior. Maybe even experiencing something that seems long gone in our culture - internally-generated shame (conscience). In small doses balanced by perspective, corrective actions, and self-forgiveness, it can be restorative.

Shameful! She should go into hiding.

Woman, 46, who abused an elderly man, 74, wearing a MAGA hat has gone missing after she was fired | Daily Mail Online
"A music store employee who ranted at an elderly man because she saw him wearing a Make America Great Again hat outside a California Starbucks has gone missing, after she was fired from her job.

Rebecca Mankey, from Palo Alto, failed to return home to her husband on Friday after a trip to Lake County, the Sheriff's Office there say.

Her cellphone last placed her in Aberdeen, Washington, and desperate friends have posted online for help in finding her.

Melissa Demyan wrote on Facebook: 'My friend Parker is missing. It’s been over 24 hours since anyone has seen or heard from her. I last saw her when she was leaving Lake County to head home yesterday. "

MAGA hat critic found safe, sheriff says - Palo Alto Daily Post
April 25 2019
Rebecca Parker Mankey, the Palo Alto activist who made headlines after berating a man in a Make America Great Again hat, is no longer missing.

The Lake County, Calif., Sheriff issued a brief statement this morning (April 23):

“Rebecca Mankey, who was originally reported as a missing person to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office on April 19, 2019, has been located safe and is no longer a missing person.”

The sheriff’s office refused to elaborate. Attempts to reach Mankey’s family were unsuccessful.

Mankey, 46, had been visiting a friend in the Lake County city of Lakeport since April 11. She left her friend’s house around 10 a.m. Thursday (April 18). When she didn’t arrive home in Palo Alto, her husband became concerned and reported that she was missing to the sheriff in Lake County.

Lake County sheriff’s detectives “pinged” her cellphone and found the phone was in Aberdeen, Wash., a city of about 17,000 in the Olympic Peninsula region, about 50 miles west of Olympia."

Thanks for the update. Seems weird she didn't even let her husband know where she was.

So basically she was embarrassed and went into hiding without telling her friends and family? That's crappy. I do not support Trump but I cannot imagine harassing a senior citizen.
