My theory is that I think the grandfather that writes childrens books has him - SM passed him off to him after the science fair.

Your theory is that he is safe an sound? Why would they hide him? dispute?
I would love that to be true.

Okay, can someone explain why whether Kyron had help with his science project has any bearing on his disappearance? His project was not that complicated - it was basically a big wallpaper type sticker on the display board. With some printed out information and photos. The diorama he had help with from his dad.

Glad to see I am not the only one creeped out by those titles, stories and the whole thing in the context of this family and situation.

I sure hope he has been thoroughly checked out.

I have just been searching and searching for reasons as to why he would slip away so easily and unnoticed. I feel that grandfather lured him out the back door next to his classroom and they (the GF and Kyron) went "for a ride" -

Now I came to this theory after I read the Grandfathers website (Northwest tales) and his stories - some of which relate to Terri and children and animals and hideaways - and a particular hideaway named "Rolf's Hideout". I was also reading abother website the other day where a psychic kept hearing "wf" "woof" but could not discern what it meant - well - put two and two together - "Rolf" = "Woof", "Wf"

He had a straight shot up I-5N about a 5-6 hour drive. Plenty of time to get away. In his stories, he really didnt take to kindly to the squirrel and made references for her to "go away". I have no idea why he would abduct him other than the fact that he did not like "That Red Squirrel"

I feel he is safe and alive. Its my theory and only my opinion.

i edited my post because I dont believe so much that Terri was involved in my theory - I cannot discern if she was or not - It just really struck me as odd when I saw his website and read his stories. Very odd - but what about this case hasnt been.

IMO. Just reading the crimes in the news thread at WS about what people do to kids it's clear they are just evil. And most of these people are the parents or other type of caregiver. I know some have a hard time comprehending that SM could hurt a sweet boy like Kyron. But they do, everyday. It's epidemic. In the scheme of things, SM is not any less likely to have commited this crime against Kyron than the other gadzillion in the world who do this. Humans are what they are and unfortunately don't have a big ole tattoo warning us of the evil ones.

I know - I read that too. I am just trying to figure something out. I just cannot see in my head that he left with a stranger out the front door unnoticed. Something just really skeeves me out about the GF. But to know where I was going with that - you have to read his stories on his website.

That said, I do hope they are investigating all other possibilities and think they already would have checked out all family members, no matter how far flung. I think with FBI there so early on, that they would have found this grandfather, as people have done here, and checked on him too.

I am stuck on this as well. They kept saying someone else saw him at 9am, now it's back to Terri last seeing him at 8:45. Is the person that saw him at 9 wrong or never existed or what? Hmm.

I have a few theories but I just don't feel comfortable posting them, yet. My theories break my own heart.

I think she disliked him but accidentally killed him and doesn't want to be locked up for it. Plain and simple. I don't think it was planned. If it was planned, it was a really lousy plan in a Susan Smith way which will show she deserves no pity whatsoever. If it was an accident (in that she lost her temper and killed him), I hope she is genuinely remorseful and owns up and let's the family grieve. The post about the cell phones being switched is very interesting but then we need a motive for what appears to be a doting loving dad to do something like this...unless he accidentally killed him and convinced her to cover for him.

Why "sneak" him out of the school for an accidental killing? He had plans for that day, the talent show for one thing. If she did harm him, I don't believe it was accidental. And, I doubt dad killed him, Wasn't he at work that day?

Maybe dad spent way too much with Kyron on the project and this infuriated the SM and she was tired of Kyron taking up so much of his father's time so she decided to take care of the problem.

Your posts are always short, sweet, and right to the point I broached the subject of jealousy in regard to Kyron's disappearance very early in the case but attributed it to the parent of a child who was in K's class and considered him to be a source of competition for his/her child. I guess I just didn't want to think that a step-parent might have similar thoughts about the boy and/or his relationship with his dad. I still don't want to entertain such thoughts about the SM, but jealousy can be a strong emotion that is sometimes difficult to overcome. jmo

My theory is similar to yours. I do think Kyron left school with SM. I just can't wrap my mind around her physically harming him (I know I could be totally wrong). I think she passed him off to someone else to do something with him. Maybe she even met this person on the island to hand off Kyron, thus the cell phone pings. Then she can say she didn't hurt him and doesn't know where he is. I SO hope someone is taking care of him and he's alive and healthy. Sadly, I get the feeling this is not the case. My heart breaks for this sweet little guy.
