WORLDWIDE - Terrorist threats and scares

I knew it was going to come down to a radicalised terrorist. Not a surprise at all.
Although this was in the news today..so maybe not related to terrorism?
No suggestion of terrorism in deadly attack on Paris police, officials say
"Government spokeswoman Sibeth Ndiaye said Friday on France Info that Paris prosecutors have decided to open a murder investigation on facts “which are not falling under terrorism at this stage of the investigation.”

Investigators were scouring the attacker’s computer and cellphone for any indications of a motive and were interviewing his wife and witnesses, a police official said.

The man, who converted to Islam 18 months ago, was not believed to be radicalized and had no history of psychiatric problems, according to the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the ongoing investigation."

They have plenty of these "radicalised terrorists" but they're doing absolutely nothing.
And many of them have spent years in French prisons...there's something wrong in their prison system...
Maybe resume the guillotine would be a good idea*

* I know that's impossible...the European Union forbids the capital punishment and French Constitution was amended years ago to prevent any executions in the future.
Just said "pour parler"...

A Kurdish official with the SDF has shared a video with reporters which he says shows a small group of ISIS prisoners escaping from the Navkur prison in Qamishlo. I’m not on the ground so this needs further confirmation, but if true this is not good news.

The SDF has not shared which prisoners are held in which facility, but I wanted to list some of the most dangerous detainees so that we can better grasp what is at stake here if the Kurds are unable to secure the prisons & camps holding the 1000s of ISIS members + relatives

According to @JcBrisard who has done some of the deepest work on French jihadists, one of the most crucial is Adrian Guihal, subject of a French arrest warrant. He claimed responsibility for the Nice, St Etienne & Magnanville attacks in France. The Nice attack killed 87 people

The horrific Nice attack in which the assailant drove a refrigerated truck onto the crowded promenade, crushing dozens of people, has become iconic not just for ISIS but also for white extremists. The Charlottesville attack which killed one is believed to be inspired by Nice

Among the mysteries of the Nice attack is the extent of the assailant’s links to ISIS, a question Adrian Guihal may be able to answer. In addition, there are numerous accessories to mass murder in the Kurdish-held facilities. Take Swiss jihadist Damien Grivat.

Damien had foreknowledge of the coordinated Paris attacks which killed 130 people. The research of @JcBrisard indicates that he reached out to his sister hours before the 2015 killings to warn her:

Among the women being held at al-Hol, who have been portrayed as brainwashed spouses, are Mylène Facre & Dorothée Maquere, wives of the Clain brothers, senior members of the external ops branch of the Emni (or Amniyat), the unit that coordinated attacks worldwide

Canadian Mohammed Khalifa, the English-language narrator of ISIS propaganda, who gave his first interview to me earlier this year, is the keeper of many of ISIS’ secrets. He worked under the emir of ISIS’ media ministry, a unit closely tied to attacks

The list of dangerous terrorists goes on and on.

So what is happening:
TURKEY HAS BOMBED THIS PRISON! and hence the prisoners could escape.

It beggars belief, but this is happening. Erdogan is attacking the Kurds and allowing ISIS to escape in the meantime.

The attacker lunged randomly as shoppers fled towards the centre’s Exchange Court.
"A TERROR suspect armed with a machete yelled: “I’m going to 🤬🤬🤬* you up” as he knifed four people at one of Britain’s biggest shopping centres yesterday."
"The 41-year-old man was held on suspicion of terror offences and has been detained under the Mental Health Act.
Sources said he spoke of an Islamist motive after being arrested."

Ws thread.

Almost 800 ISIS brides and their children escape camp near Raqqa | Daily Mail Online

Families of Islamic State group members have escaped a displacement camp in northern Syria where a Turkish offensive against Kurdish forces has sparked fierce fighting.

The Kurdish-led administration said 785 foreigners affiliated with ISIS escaped the camp where they were being held following Turkish shelling today.

In an apparent reference to Turkish-backed Syrian rebels, the administration said in a statement 'mercenaries' had attacked the camp where 'Daesh elements' - a reference to Islamic State - in turn attacked camp guards and opened the gates.

It is believed the ISIS 'matchmaker' Tooba Gondal, 25, from Walthamstow, who reportedly lured Shamima Begum to Syria, was in the Ain Issa camp, north of Raqqa, with her two children after she was caught trying to get to Turkey following the fall of Baghuz.

Turkey-backed Syrian rebels kill Kurdish politician, execute prisoners

Syrian rebel factions leading the Turkish ground incursion into northeastern Syria killed a leading female Kurdish activist and politician and filmed themselves executing at least two prisoners.

On Saturday, October 12, Ahrar al-Sharqiya set up a checkpoint on the M4 highway in Tal Abyad and fired at vehicles full of civilians, including an armored SUV carrying women’s rights activist and secretary-general of the Future Syria party, Havrin Khalaf.

An open-source analyst who goes by the handle obretix identified the location as a stretch of motorway in Raqqa governorate between Ayn Issa and Al Hasakah, south of Tal Abyad and northeast of Raqqa city.

Graphic photos and a video that later circulated on social media purported to show Khalaf’s vehicle and her dead body, and the Syrian Democratic Council confirmed she had been killed. The SDC, part of the autonomous administration in northeast Syria, blamed the attack on Turkey, which supports Ahrar al-Sharqiya.

Many fighters in Ahrar al-Sharqiya are former al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham members. They now are deployed by NATO-member Turkey in their war against the Kurds.

Havrin Khalaf was Secretary General of the Future Syria Party, and known for her leadership on women’s rights.

What's wrong with this picture? The perp who was shot dead today on the London Bridge was wearing an ankle monitor after being convicted of terrorism in 1912.
So he pled GUILTY to taking part in a previous terrorist bomb attack---and a few years later he is free to do another attack?

Khan was part of Stock Exchange plot

Usman Khan was convicted in 2012 for his role in the Stock Exchange plot, a Christmas bomb attack on the London Stock Exchange, the American embassy and the home of Boris Johnson, who was then the London mayor.

As reported by The Telegraph, when police searched Khan's home in Stoke, they recovered a folded A4 sheet of paper which bore notes of the structure, roles and responsibilities of individuals in a terrorist cell.

It included the headings ‘structure’, ‘responsibilities’, ‘communication’ and ‘local’ and appeared to be written by a co-conspirator.

Khan pleaded guilty to preparing acts of terrorism (in 2012).

Armed attackers killed 4 tourists in Tajikistan: police

Four tourists, including two Americans, were killed in Tajikistan on Sunday by armed attackers in what was originally reported as a hit-and-run road accident, the interior minister said Monday.

"(The suspects) had knives and firearms," minister Ramazon Hamro Rahimzoda said of the attack that left tourists from the United States, Switzerland and the Netherlands dead and two others injured.

The dead were on a cycling tour in the impoverished ex-Soviet nation, in a group with three other tourists from Switzerland, the Netherlands and France.

"One tourist received a knife wound and is being given medical assistance. The victim's condition is stable," said Rahimzoda without mentioning nationality.

Hussein Abdusamadov, an ISIS fighter from Tajikistan who trained in Syria before returning to his home country where he organized the murder of four Western cyclists, including Americans Jay Austin and Lauren Geoghegan, has died in prison:

Last Survivor Of Group That Killed Foreign Cyclists In Tajikistan Dies In Prison
Mansurjon Umarov, chief of the Main Directorate at the Tajik Justice Ministry's Penitentiary Service, told RFE/RL on March 3 that prosecutors were investigating the cause of death of Hussein Abdusamadov, who was serving a life sentence for his role in the killing of the foreign cyclists on the Dushanbe-Danghara highway in July 2018.

"Abdusamadov's body has been sent for an autopsy to exclude torture or violence as his cause of death," Umarov said, stressing that Abdusamadov "was a dangerous terrorist."

LKA ermittelt: Anschlagversuch auf ICE-Strecke

Idstein - The LKA [ State Criminal Police Office ] of Hesse is investigating an attempted attack on a high-speed railway line between Cologne and Frankfurt!

According to initial investigations, persons unknown had loosened the rail bolts in a forest area near the Niedernhausen exit on a total of about 100 meters of the track. Early in the morning, an ICE train driver had noticed that his train was driving unsteadily over the bridge and reported the incident immediately.

Railway employees then discovered during the inspection that the rails on the bridge had already loosened and were five centimetres further apart than usual. The line was immediately closed and all other trains were diverted. Investigators say that the incident is being taken very seriously, it is definitely not a prank by youths. "At the moment, nothing concrete can be said", Wiesbaden's police spokesman Markus Hoffmann told BILD: "The investigations on site are still ongoing."

The police cordoned off the crime scene, and a hundred men from Mainz-Castell are currently searching the woods between the A3 and the bridge over the Tisza Valley. A police helicopter is also on duty. There are delays of up to 90 minutes on the route, some trains are completely cancelled. The effects can be felt as far as Bavaria, Switzerland and the Benelux countries.

The police did not speak of a possible terrorist background to the crime. However, the investigators do not rule out deliberate damage to property.

There have been other attempts with a terrorost background at derailing ICE trains.

Gesuchter ICE-Attentäter in Wiener Gemeindebau gefasst

"ICE-train attacker is a recognized refugee and security guard"

The letter of confession put the investigators on a trail that led to Vienna. According to his lawyer, the suspect claims he has nothing to do with terrorism.

A suspect wanted in connection with the attacks on ICE trains in Germany was arrested in Vienna. The suspect is a 42-year-old recognized refugee from Iraq. The public prosecutor's office in Vienna confirmed a corresponding report in the Kronen Zeitung in principle, but corrected the age mentioned there.

The man was arrested by the Cobra elite unit in a Viennese community building. Yesterday there was a raid in this context in Vienna-Simmering. The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BVT) coordinated the action.

The German investigators allegedly came on the trail through a letter of confession from the IS in Arabic script or via the printer used for this purpose. Apparently there are also connections to the eleven suspected terrorists in Germany who were arrested only a few days ago in the Frankfurt area (*).

The suspect studied at the Technical University of Vienna and is the father of five children. He is also said to be employed by a security company and to have access to football stadiums, for example. Apparently he glorified various attacks on his Facebook account, such as the one in Nice. He is also said to have called for revenge for the right-wing radical attack in New Zealand. He also had sympathies for the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

According to his lawyer, Vienna defence lawyer Wolfgang Blaschitz, Qaeser A. has admitted to being responsible for the attempted attacks on ICE trains in Germany. "But he affirms that he has nothing to do with terrorism. The attacks should have been a political message to the German government," Blaschitz said. Due to the language problems with his client he had not been able to clarify exactly on Tuesday what that meant. Qaeser A. wants to prevent extradition to Germany by all means.

La juez Tardón envía a prisión a uno de los terroristas más buscados de Europa

Judge Tardón sends one of Europe's most wanted terrorists to prison

Abdel Bary, who fought with ISIS and had connections with Spain, was hiding in Almeria

763

Judge Maria Tardón's decision took only a few hours to arrive. The judge of the Audiencia Nacional on Wednesday agreed to send Abdel Majed Abdel Bary, an alleged combatant of the self-styled Islamic State (ISIS) who was arrested earlier this week in Almería and considered by the security forces and intelligence services to be an "extremely violent" terrorist, to prison without bail. The alleged jihadist, who has refused to testify, had managed to enter the peninsula clandestinely from North Africa.

"He is charged with the crime of integration into a terrorist organization," legal sources have said of a case that has been declared secret. The judge has also agreed to send to prison, without bail and on the same charges, the other two detainees in the police operation who, the Ministry of the Interior said, were arrested in the rented flat where Abdel Bary was hiding. Investigators believe that both accompanied the main suspect on his trip back to Europe, although they were working in parallel to find out if either of them is also an ISIS Foreign Terrorist Fighter now returned to the continent.

Abdel Bary has been known to the Audiencia Nacional for years and the European anti-terrorist forces have been trying to find him for some time. The British man born in 1990, who also has Egyptian nationality, was a rapper known as L Jinny who left London in 2013 to go to Syria to join the ranks of the terrorist organization. The United Kingdom then put him on a search and arrest warrant.

In view of the possibility of his return, Europe placed him among its priority objectives "both because of his criminal record in the ranks of ISIS, and because of his high level of danger," the Home Office said on Tuesday, stressing that he had spent several years in the Syrian-Irish conflict zone. Extremely cruel, according to the investigators, he had even exposed his criminal "trajectory" on social networks. In another court case, for example, the prosecutor's office explained that the alleged terrorist even posted a photograph of himself with a decapitated head on his Twitter account.

Abdel Bary's relationship with Spain is not new. According to an investigation by the Audiencia Nacional, in 2014 he contacted a young woman from Almonte (Huelva), María de los Ángeles Cala Márquez, who made the decision to travel to Syria to marry him. The twenty year old woman even planned to travel to Istanbul and from try to enter the conflict zone from there. An idea that was frustrated after the jihadist, after days without speaking, told her that he had moved to Turkey "taking advantage of the confusion created by the massive exodus of people who crossed the border fleeing from the war," according to a statement.

In that ruling, in fact, it is stressed that Cala Márquez wanted to help Abdel Bary return to the European Union at that time. She decided to go to Turkey to give him the passport of a friend, so that the jihadist could enter Spain posing as him. However, the young woman was arrested on her way to catch the plane in Barajas (Madrid) and was sentenced, after reaching an agreement with the Public Prosecutor's Office, to two years in prison for collaborating with ISIS.
