From page 198 of Ann Rule's novella:

2. A review of the Internet history from Becky's computer during the last twenty-four hours showed numerous searches and viewing of 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, including lesbian and anime 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. (The latter is a Japanese sytle of annimated cartoon, often with violent of sexually explicit content.)

That would be from approximately midnight Monday to mignight Tuesday. Adam did not arrive until 4 pm Tuesday, and he and Rebecca went to the hospital, to dinner with Jonah, back to the hospital, then home around 8 pm. Adam went to the guest house, and Rebecca went upstairls to the master bedroom, and the computer/guest room.

No one else had access to the computer. Unless Rebecca was having an affair and had snuck someone into the mansion both nights and he or they watched this 🤬🤬🤬🤬 together - which I don't even entertain - it was Rebecca who viewed it, iMO.

bbm and enlarged for emphasis. "No one had access to the computer. " ????? Maybe someone who was used to coming into the house, through the back door or BACK GATE decided to come log onto the computer to make plane reservations? Didn't a close male friend (fly in) from Phoenix the very day of "Monday's accident" to help and support?
Now that the times of access to the computer have been "reiterated".... maybe the Phoenix friend used the computer? Hmmm, maybe we can't see-the-duck, but ACCESS, TIME FITS, DEFINATELY KNOWS THE AREA, SHARES THE SAME FENCE....but maybe I just see-duck-feathers. BTW, it is not uncommon for hetorsexual males to view 🤬🤬🤬🤬 (of all genders & types) on a computer.
As an armchair detective, I always feel everyone is a suspect....until they can provide AN IRON CLAD alibi, photographic evidence, or a video showing where they were. (Watching a tv show with your girlfriend, brother, best friend or mother...isn't an ironclad alibi...IMO)
JUST WANTING TO THROW OUT ANOTHER AVENUE OF THOUGHT....

Case number CV2013-009289 might not be new for 2015, but the original filing is a familiar date. 7-16-2013. Maxie passed away on 7-16-2011. Could this be a suit Dina filed to preserve the SOL in Maxie's death?

I wonder how much money was Dina seeking in that civil suit vs. Jonah in 7/16/2013? And all those kitties who kept harping on the Zahau's WDS about money. Hmm, really? What about greedy Dina? AND Dina's suit was dismissed with prejudice meaning she canNOT sue Jonah again for same charges because it was proven to be hogwash ("without merit") in court.

Thank you for posting all the photos in the same place, as it makes my questions and observations much easier to address. The woman in the first photo is wearing a lighter and less tailored jacket, AND is carrying a LARGE BLACK BAG OVER HER RIGHT SHOULDER, and wearing light brown/tan strapped flat sandals!!
If it was Tsuida in the first photo, where did she ditch her bag, suddenly change to a tailored and shorter jacket, and also put on a different pair of shoes??? And Tsuida appears to still be quite short, petite in photos 2, 3 &4 with her left hand barely being at the height of the doorbell, even after standing 3 to 4 inches higher after stepping into the entry. YEP, if you look closely at the photos, you can see a person has to step up to a much higher threshold than the the flat concrete porch.
NOW, this is just how it looks to me in the photos, and I'm sure someone else might see it differently or have some insight into how Tsuida's wardrobe and accessories changed so dramatically???
(ps. I am challenged on how to attach the photos from #228 on my post. Can someone do that for me? Thanks in advance, IQ)

LMAO *Totally different pics*

First of all, that's NOT the pic I'm referring to. The pic I was talking about had a big, stocky, tall woman with stooping posture covering her face with her hand and who had her BACK to the photographer and who was ENTERING the Spreckels mansion front door while holding a LARGE BLACK BAG, AND there's a stocky, tall male detective standing at the door holding a cup of coffee.

YOUR pic here is of Det Tsuida with her face forward clearly showing her face with a small purse standing with multiple other people further OUTSIDE the mansion at the GARAGE/Driveway!

And why are you jumping to false conclusions again? Just because I didn't see the pic you speak of doesn't mean I didn't read the book now, does it?

As a matter of fact though I owe you no explanation, I purchased the e-kindle version and there are no pics in it.

So NO. The woman in the pic I saw I believe 100% was *Dina* ENTERING the Spreckels mansion the Wed morning Rebecca was reported hanging, and I continue to believe it's Dina because you have shown no proof otherwise. Instead, your *different* pic shows someone entirely different, dressed completely differently, and physically present at an entire different part of the mansion. Nope. You can *not* pull the wool over my keen, sharp, eagle-eyes.

Here are the photos you are referring to, Bourne. The one with the woman's back to the camera and the man with the coffee. The one you say you believe 100% is Dina. Here are the photos, all side by side, and it is very easy to see they are most definitely Detective Tsuida, not Dina Shacknai.:

I'll try to attach photo links:

2) File Type: jpg Investigatoratdoor_zps8a7b55b8.jpg (19.2 KB, 25 views)
3) File Type: jpg asianinvestigator.jpg (33.6 KB, 23 views)
4) File Type: jpg Tsuida.jpg (147.5 KB, 23 views)
Photo#1 clearly shows an unstructured, light colored jacket. Notice the contrast of the man on the left with the gray colored pants. The OUTFIT WORN BY THE WOMAN ON THE PORCH IS MUCH, MUCH LIGHTER. Also the jacket worn by the woman HAS NO SHOULDER PADDING!!
Photo#2 Tsuida is standing 3 to 4 inches higher in the foyer and yet is still not as tall as the woman in photo #1 who is standing on the concrete porch.
Photo#3 The man with the gray pants is now standing directly to the right of Tsuida in the foyer and his gray pants are almost the exact same dark gray shade as the suit Det. Sgt. Tsuida is wearing!! Also notice the "flare' of the jacket hem, short waist cut and TAILORED SHOULDER PADS.
Photo#4 Again notice how petite Det Sgt Tsuida is in the middle of this photo and again, the obvious "flare" at the hem of the tailored jacket. Black 2 inch closed toe shoes, and very distinct shoulder padding.

The lady in photo #1 isn't Tsuida, IN MY OPINION as I compared the photos. (Guess others will see it differently than me...which is fine. This is after all a collaborative or conflicting forum of ideas, right?)

Nina Romano had almost 30 hours of time, after she landed in San Diego, to contact the police if she was suspicious of the circumstances concerning Max's injuries. Instead she "walked over to the mansion at 10 o'clock at night, alone, to confront the woman she thought was lying and avoiding her." ???? That alone seems to be a compulsive and unsafe action to take. If "any one thing" planted the seeds of doubt of in my mind as to what could have happened that night....they began with that admission.

Nina wasn't going to the mansion to "confront" Rebecca, she only wanted to see where Max "fell" from and to her Rebecca's account of what happened. Rebecca seemed to like Nina very much, as evidenced by the big and long hug he gave her at the airport, and should have welcomed her company. It's really tragic that Rebecca didn't go to the door and talk to Nina. Perhaps if she had, and she had seen that Nina was not mad at her, but only wanted to understand what happened, she wouldn't have felt so guilty and would not have taken her on life. However, she did feel guilty over something, and she did not answer Nina's texts or knocks at the door, and proceeded to take her own life hours later.

Ahhh...yep, that's her story. I don't believe her. She went there to check/look at what kind of bloody mess her twin was incurring.

Nope, wrong there. Nina's twin was in Rady's IC unit, with her almost-dead son.

Nope, wrong there. There is absolutely nothing, nada that says/shows Nina's 'twin', Dina was there.

Except for the police investigate records and Ann Rule's book that state she was there..you are right, nothing.

Hah!!! The only thing the coppers found was <mod snip>, Dina's cell. hahah. No sighting or evidence The <mod snip>Twin was there. Ann Rule's 'novella'...scraping the bottom of the barrel, using her book and the 'info' in it as evidence. Hah.

On the other hand, there are people who saw <mod snip>, Dina, skulking around Jonah and Rebecca's place. Oh, and don't forget, <mod snip>, Nina, was there to meet/join Dina. :jail:

Desperation at its finest hahah.

The only people who are desperate right now are the Zahaus and their attorneys.

IMO, the case will be thrown out of state civil court in May, and the federal case will be thrown out after that. In fact, I am beginning to believe the Zahaus and their lawyers missed the federal diversity clause on purpose. A backup just in case the state case was thrown out (since Dina has numerous witnesses that place her at Radys that evening which blows their claims) they could then try to pin it on Nina and Adam in federal court. I hope both Judges see through the Zahaus false claims and dismiss both of the cases. Anything else would be a gross miscarriage of justice.

It's quite unusual to have the need to call someone so late at night that you have a tangential relationship to and want to come over to 'discuss' serious concerns and examine particular areas of the home (although it was already weird you expect her to pick you up at the airport and question her, and, oh, touch/use her phone), let alone go up to their house uninvited and knock on the door... trying to force them to talk with you (or even get out of bed to accommodate you?). Even more unusual is that person ends up dead within a short time after. And, your main connection to that person doesn't seem to present any solid alibi... for years. Where are these numerous alibi witnesses and, even if they exist, for what time period do they cover).

9:45 at night is not late. You make it sound like it was the middle of the night. That time is not too late for a phone call or visit during a time of family emergency. Rebecca had just gotten home at 8 pm.

If only Rebecca had come to the door, Nina may have been able to pick up that she was thinking of killing herself and stopped it. Instead, she took her own life 4 or 5 hours later...while Nina was back at Dina's home with her son and Dina's other company, and Dina was at Rady's with her dying son.

In polite society, 9:45 IS too late. It's about consideration of others' time vs. forcing one's own agenda.

^ I disagree. I think it was perfectly reasonalble for her to walk around the block to Jonah's house to talk to Rebecca. After all, wasn't all of Rebecca's focus on poor little Maxie anyway? Anyone of polite society would have answered the phone or door, with Max in the ICU. But instead of answering the door or Nina's questions, Rebecca was focused on herself and her own pain and guilt, and on taking her life.

^^^

In reality, imo, Rebecca was most likely fighting for her life.

  • #400
No, in reality, she was taking a shower, staying nude, painting on doors, tying herself up, and falling off of the balcony. All to avoid questions about Maxie's condition.
