Thank you Lash. I do not have any information to share at this time. And I will be ducking out of this thread permanently.

Oh no!! Don't leave, we need all the 'verified insiders' we can get.

This particular thread is about a wrongful death suit. In other words, Rebecca's murder. She is the victim in this thread. Not the larger twin. Nor the smaller twin. Or Maxie's uncle. All three of them are considered the perps in this civil case.

Wondering why the 'bashing' of Mary, Rebecca's sister, a victim, doesn't bother you. hmmmm....

I never said or indicated in any way that it didn't bother me. Bashing anyone bothers me very much.

Thank you. I cannot view the video on my phone for some reason but I will take your word for it.

You're very welcome :)

I am sorry your were not able to view the video. Dina starts her address to the council saying, "I am here because as a mom and a scientist I could not make make sense of the version of the incident provided to me by the Coronado Police Department".

I wish you had information you could share :( Any thing new would be helpful to the discussion in this thread. I hope you don't leave us, your contributions are appreciated!

You're welcome Screecher :) I was also looking for the report on the screams. Time got away from me, but here it is. The entire article is a good case refresher.

Meanwhile, Bremner came forward Wednesday with new reports from witnesses in the Coronado neighborhood.

"We are now confirming information from a witness that there may have been a cry for help from a woman in the mansion around 11:30 p.m. the evening prior (to Zahau's death)," Bremner said. "So that's important in terms of the time of death and in terms of the surrounding circumstances."

Just for perspective - the Dina/Nina/Adam defenders continually discount the high profile of Rebecca's murder and try to push it off as just a few people who find the suicide ruling suspect. That is way off base. Of the Featured Cases on Websleuths, only two other cases of a similar timeline has generated more postings. That of Hannah Graham, 2014, 46,008 postings and that of Dylan Redwine, 2012, 62,365 postings. Rebecca's case presently has 42,490 postings with the overriding majority believing she was murdered. That's a big indicator of the interest in this case nationally and internationally.

Jurors - and both plaintiff and defendants have asked for a jury trial - upon hearing ALL evidence, will find Rebecca's death to be highly suspicious particularly when you have a mother who continues to accuse Rebecca of murdering her child which speaks to an obvious motive. I believe the selected evidence that SDSO cherry picked will fold like a deck of cards.

And I intend to be in that courtroom watching the squirming of the defendants as ALL evidence is revealed as to Rebecca's murder. This case is no small deal and the interest in it will be huge.

Thanks *Lash* ! Back to Rebecca's phone, IIRC, wasn't there some kind of discrepancy with the 'times'? Nina had said she sent the text to Rebecca at 9 something, while Rebecca's phone had it time-stamped (for lack of a better word) and whole hour later. In reading the link you put up, it said

"Two of three search warrants unsealed this week were issued for cell phone records from AT&T and Verizon, but officials would confirm what individuals they related to. Lt. Nesbit said the warrants did not seek Rebecca's phone records, nor did they relate to the phone records of Adam Shacknai, Jonah's brother."

I don't know what to think about this^

The "Rebecca Cell Phone" closed forum has all of this detail. It also goes into the specifics of how Dina was not located anywhere that Tuesday night. And post #1003 by Serpico lists 25 pertinent items that the investigators did not investigate at all (for anyone who may be just getting into this case to educate themselves on it).

Snip -
A passerby did notice a woman at the house that night and reported it to police following Zahau's death July 13. But that witness's description of the woman does not match that of Nina Romano, according to Zahau family attorney Anne Bremner.

In a series of emails and interviews with News 8, Bremner said the witness now believes the woman he saw was Nina's sister, Dina Shacknai.

"The witness sent me a picture of Dina and said it was Dina," according to Bremner, who said the witness was riding a bicycle by the home at approximately 10:20 p.m. on July 12.

"He was going by and saw somebody with a large, black bag trying to get in the front door and looking around and going to the back of the house," Bremner said. "She was 40 to 50 years, 5'5", 170 to 190 lbs., long dark hair; wearing a black and white striped short sleeve shirt," said Bremner.

"He is positive it (was) Dina and she was acting very suspiciously," Bremner wrote. "He has seen subsequent news reports that said Nina was out front and he said that's not the person he saw."

The SDSO, FBi, and DOJ did not find those witnesses credible. Perhaps they were one of the people posting in the Patch. It is not unusual for mentally disturbed people to try to interject themselves in crime cases. And since Anne Bremner is the one they contacted, instead of LE, well, that just tells me a lot. LE found them uncredible for a reason.

Case will be thrown out in October, with the Zahaus having to pay for the Shacknai and Romano court costs. The Zahaus case will be thrown out, as they have no evidence whatsoever to back up their tawdry claims.

Yeah, "Justice for Rebecca" is so popular. That's why they only got 56 people to donate to their slick media blitz of San Diego for their last fundraising appeal. The raised %1 of the HUGE amount they were begging for. That shows you how much support they have.

Only a small group of people are still exclaiming Zahau's death was a murder, most SD residents trust in the DNA, fingerprints, footprints, and other physical evidence that the SDSO found and understand that she killed herself and the evidence proves that.

What they still question is what really happened to Max that Rebecca felt so guilty for?

Civil cases don't have perps. When people whether it be RZ's sister or Dina put themselves in the media and make accusations of murder they invite public scrutiny and the expression of public opinion of their actions. They also could face defamation lawsuits if the accusation is malicious and false unless the accused is dead.

Me too! I will definitely be there. Can't wait to show my face in court and watch the defendants particularly Dina and Nina squirm and eat dirt and pay for their vile and repugnant murder of Rebecca.

To bad it will be dismissed in Oct. for lack of evidence to prove the Zahaus claims.

Attention Please!

UNTIL there are formal charges made, no one is guilty of anything. Just accused of crimes, which makes it 'alleged,' and a 'civil case' filed. So please stop making stuff up about those involved in this case.

Two people tragically lost their lives, Rebecca and Max.

Now until there is something new, perhaps some of you would like to step away from your computer. Or, you may wish to browse the pages of Websleuths and you may find another case that interests you. At the least, please stop snipping at each other. Everyone has picked their sides, now play nice.

Remember to use the triangle at the bottom left of each post to report TOS violations.

TIA

Please someone tell me how the Zahaus know and will prove that Dina and Nina sat on the bed (so it wouldn't move like it did in the "test" the Zahaus did.

Please tell me how the Zahaus khow and will prove Dina and Nina chased Rebecca around the courtyard?

Please someone tell me how the Zahaus know Adam painted black paint on Rebeccas nipples.

Are they going to say that XZ didn't really fly home and she hid in the bushes and then in the balcony room and all of these allegations are what she saw?

Or maybe the bicycle family now remembers they saw all of that too?

Could one of the three/a witness be communicating with the Zs?
