The list of those deposed to date is interesting for who isn't on the list, namely the Romano sisters, Jonah Schacknai, Paul Pfingst, Dina Romano's boyfriend, Nina Romano's son, to name a few.

The list of written deposition requests is interesting as well.

Snipped and BBM.

The depositions listed indicate "to date". If I were doing the discovery (not that's a scary thought!), I would leave until last the twins, JS, Pfingst, etc, that you mentioned. Why not get the whole picture and then come in with as much background as possible prior to deposing those most important to the case. I would think these depositions are upcoming.

Hey LuckyLucy2,

I was looking over the past few threads and I would like to make sure some of the statements made where links were not provided are cleared up for the readers here. I am a stickler for details and facts :) .

The were no news reports that said Jonah's other children were there. It was simply reported that Rebecca was there with a teenage girl, and posters jumped to the conclusion that is was Jonah's daughter because they didn't know that Rebecca had a "sister". Once it became clear that it was XZ, those posters could not admit they were wrong.

There is no article that states Jonah's other children were there. Please link that article if you can prove me wrong.

RBBM - This statement was proved wrong. I linked the article below which states JS's other siblings were there. True or false, it was reported.

No, but I was following tha comments in the Patch from the first day the story came out, and there were certain posters that started those rumors, and contacted the Zahaus and they passed the rumors on Anne Bremner. That is how it got started.

IMO, those posters did nothing but add to the Zahaus' trauma and the grief of Max's family.

BTW, I meant to follow my post with JMO, but you can go back and read those articles and comments- if you printed them out like I did. They are no longer on the site. Maybe someone linked PDFs here?

JMO! :blushing:

RBBM - Here, I asked if a link could be provided showing the planking rumors orginiated from the Patch comments and that Bremner passed them on. The answer was no and a link to support this statement was not provided. The RBBM would be hearsay or an opinion, unless or until a link can be provided.

As well, in another post, I asked for a link to support the statement Mary Zahau contacted Bremner. A link to support this statement was not provided. This statement would also be hearsay or an opinion, unless or until a link can be provided.

I merely want to keep what "facts" we do have in order.

Dina is sacred to death at having to be deposed, scared to death of being caught up in her multiple lies. imo. As is Nina.

Yes, that absolutely makes sense. Thanks.

It would be helpful to know who requested each deposition. The case management document was jointly filed by the plaintiffs and defendants. So the list is a combination of discovery by all the parties. I think it is telling neither Dina or Nina have been deposed. In my opinion, I think Dina and Company may be the one requesting most of the depostions.

Hi Justice

Above, Screecher kindly copied the list of the other or upcoming depositions that have been requested. I attached the whole document as a PDF file in my post. You should be able to access the whole document, hopefully :) ?

The parties initially discussed settlement in their Early Neutral Evaluation Conference held on December 9, 2014 and did not reach settlement. The parties have come to the conclusion that no ADR process is likely to deliver benefits sufficient to justify the resources committed to its use, and this case should be exempted from participating in any ADR process.

Noticeably absent are: Dina and Nina Romano. Hmm, I wonder why they have not been deposed yet?

Guess their GUILT is eating them up and they are SHAKING LIKE LEAVES...:loveyou:

I know I'm not exactly on my game today LOL, but I still don't see "requested depositions" - I only see "Subpoenas for Documents".

And I would add to that list: Howard Luber, Dr. Peterson, Mark Salazar and his daughter C, Dina's former Coronado best friend/hair stylist (who was at the G Ave property the night of July 13th), and of course Nina's son, Guy English Jr..

The word is that she was so afraid of Dina after that night because she believes that Dina "did the deed", based upon Dina's behavior that night........the two have not spoken since.

So the Zahaus are planning on dropping the Federal Case? Guess they felt that using up our tax payer dollars to file their false case in Federal court in first place was just fine. They are cutting their losses now. They know they are going to lose BOTH cases, IMO.

Soon, it will be so long to the loser Zahaus! :happydance:

Glad to see that XZ was deposed. I hope Dina learned some things about Max's "accident", although IMO, Mary has coached her on what to say for the last four years.

I wonder if the smart folk in the California Attorney General's office that reviewed the case TWICE and found no signs of wrongdoing will be deposed?

JMO

BettyP: The last 5 people on the list are lab technicians/criminalists who work for the county of San Diego.

Do you have a link for that?

BettyP: Brian Patterson is the SDSO Detective who suddenly changed his opinion from suspicious death to suicide.

Looking back it seems so unusual that this detective decided to rule suicide as COD because of the bizarre note painted on the door, so called lack of other DNA on the rope and Adam's inconclusive polygraph.

He changed his mind because it turns out, it WAS suicide. He decieded to rule it suicide on much more than that. Please see all the evidence that proved the death was suicide here:

http://sdsheriff.net/coronado/

BettyP: So, it sounds as though whatever Adam was offering wasn't sufficient for the Zahau's to settle.

No where did it say that Adam offered a settlement. To the contrary, Adam has indicated he WILL NOT SETTLE on every one of the case management statements he's filed. The Zahaus' are the only ones interested in settlement and making some ill-gained cash - as they indicated in their last case management statement:

https://roa.sdcourt.ca.gov/roa/face...5_Case_Management_Statement_1435735568456.pdf

"The parties initially discussed settlement in their Early Neutral Evaluation Conference held on December 9, 2014 and did not reach settlement."

I would imaging the "discussion" went something like this: Adam, "I'm not paying you for something I did not do and know that you are just trying to extort money from my rich brother." Zahaus', "Come on, please? We'd do almost anything to make money off of Rebecca's victims." Adam, "Too bad. You have no case and it will be dismissed, and I will be asking the Judge to have you pay my court costs."

screecher: Dina is sacred to death at having to be deposed, scared to death of being caught up in her multiple lies. imo. As is Nina.

You state this as a fact. Do you know Dina and Nina? Or do you have a link? Or is this just your opinion abou two women you don't know? Just want to know what i fact and what is not. TIA

justice be served: I personally believe the discovery will find coercion strongly came into play here to find for suicide. Whether or not there is honesty coming from LE in these depositions is another story however. Sorry to feel that way about our public officials but the writing has been on the wall from the beginning.

That's too bad you feel that way. I think the discovery will show what stellar jobs all 15 investigators did, and how carefully they came to their conclusions. And also how hard the four LE agencies involoved worked to solve the death. The evidence is clear that they came to the correct decision of suicide.

InParadise: And I would add to that list: Howard Luber, Dr. Peterson, Mark Salazar and his daughter C, Dina's former Coronado best friend/hair stylist (who was at the G Ave property the night of July 13th), and of course Nina's son, Guy English Jr..

Nina says in her CBS8 audio interview that Dina was with Max on Wednesday night. Do you have a link to show that Dina's "Dina's former Coronado best friend/hair stylist"was at the G Ave property the night of July 13th? Also, what is her name? TIA

In the list below, I highlighted the few people that believe Rebecca Zahau's death was suicide. IMO, the rest testified it was suicide.

22 to 2!!!!

Not a very good percentage for the Zahau side...bet they are really getting worried about losing that nice house of theirs!

BTW, I did not include XZ, as I believe she did know that Rebecca's death was a suicide due to the text she sent that day to a dead Rebecca saying, "It wasn't your fault" leading to me she knew Rebeeca felt guilty for Max's accident. I hope she was honest in her deposition, but I worry that she has been under Mary's influence for too long for total honesty on the subject.
