<snipped to address>

But Nina would have us believe that an eye tech with basic CPR skills could do better airway management in the field, with no equipment or experience, than paramedics?? GMAB.

This reminds me of something that has always made me see red.

Dina (and Nina as well) has made much of whether or not RZ did or did not attempt CPR on Max. This from a mother who could not be found for several hours after her son's life-threatening accident, nor is there any record of her location on the very night when Max was supposedly pronounced brain dead (according to the supposed voicemail from Jonah to Rebecca that supposedly triggered the supposed suicide).

That's some nerve, I must say. The woman couldn't even be found for hours as her son was being rushed from home to hospital to Rady, but she's all about accusing RZ of not trying to help the boy after his fall.

Betcha Dina has never taken responsibility for anything damaging she has ever said or done in her life.

Oh yes- the mother of the year who was so worried and afraid for her son in Rebecca's company and care.

Yeah right- she couldn't be reached for hours and hours while Max was there.

Bourne wrote that post about Ann Rule in 2012- well before anyone knew that she was in the late stages of Alzheimer's.

She was not in the late stages of Alzheimer's when she wrote the book - in 2012.

Dina may have been sleeping due to her bronchitis, but that is a far cry from letting a child have a fatal accident on your watch.

May I also remind everyone to be careful about clicking on links? I happen to know that.....ummmm....well, never mind that but do be careful whose links you click. Seriously. Just be careful.

If anyone is concerned about the SD ROA links, just wait a bit till Bessie has time to post the docs as pdf's in the doc thread, and you can read them safely without linking away from WS. She posts them as she has time, which is a great help to all of us here.

I'll say I'm very appreciative that she is willing to do that, because with the new system whereby links expire so quickly, it would be beyond laborious to have to post each page individually in a format the posting window will allow.

Thank you, Bessie! And thank you, *Lash*, who has also been very supportive and helpful getting the documents up for all to read!

"Bronchitis nap" is a pretty polite excuse for the truth.

Plenty of folks saw her, and what she was doing, the evening before.

And the news media reported her sleepover BF is the one who finally answered the door to police, who had been trying to rouse the occupants for quite a while. The same BF whose daughter posted on her social media that day that Max was injured in a fall and brain dead.

People aren't stupid.

IMO, Dina has some extreme and deep seated guilt and anguish about her unavailability to Max during that extended "bronchitis nap", complicating her extreme rage toward Jonah and Rebecca, and complicating her grief about Max's tragic and fatal fall.

Rebecca and her sister were trying to save Max after his fall. What was Dina doing when police couldn't reach her for hours and hours?

"Bronchitis nap." Got it.

Yes, indeed, this is a pretty sad commentary from someone who wants to place blame on everyone but herself. Sorry, but that's the way I and many others see it. Good luck, Dinah. If you have an alibi, voice it to the world girl! That's all everyone is waiting for.

I've always found it interesting that she had an "ironclad alibi" for her unavailability the day Max fell. IMO, Dina put a lot more time and effort into 'splaining away her "bronchitis nap", than she ever has since then for her absence on the Rady cameras the night Rebecca died. Her supporters claim she has this "ironclad alibi" for the hours when (IMO) Rebecca was being tortured and murdered, but after 4 1/2 years, we are no closer to hearing the details of that ironclad alibi. Just bluster.

It was, obviously, far more important to Dina to get out her "bronchitis nap" excuse in the Boy, Interrupted story that she asked her co-worker's free lance journalist husband to write, IMO.

"Just bluster". Sums it up perfectly.

^^ Thanks for the reminder of Dina's friend's "journalistic" piece. It always absolutely amazes me how a self aggrandizing person expects to dupe the masses. Well, I don't consider that publication a success except to the feeble-minded of which I am sure there are many followers of fellow feeble-minded people. In fact I could say the same of the totality of the investigators of this case and their leaders who think they are so smart and above the law.

I just can't let this go. Wasn't Dina worried about Max in Rebecca's care? You put that on the record. Seriously, bronchitis? No freaking way would a mom, that is supposedly questioning the "babysitter" would take herself out of the game for hours! Like 4? 6? 8? Lots of guilt on that mom. Which leads to wacky crap. Let's not even go to the fact that Dina is so out of it from "cold medicine" that she can't wake up to multiple phone calls and banging on the door. Good lord, what if Max happened to be in her care during that time? Just saying. Not relevant in the wrongful death suit, expect for MOTIVE.

Pray tell, who saw her and what was she doing the night before? Do you have a ink?

Can you give me the link that shows Dina's boyfriend opened the door to the police?

Can you give me a link that shows Rebecca and her sister were trying to "save" Max? What, by staging the scene? He certainly did not get the CPR he needed to survive.

TIA. Without something to back up those statements, they are just rumors and untrue, IMO.

But Max wasn't in Dina's care at that time. He was with Rebecca, getting his fatal injuries that killed him a few days later.

was dina's bf taking a bronchitis nap at the same time? no one else home? Good thing max wasn't there with his mother at that time if everyone was sleeping sick, he might have had an accident there as well.

  • #315
He could have been fatally injured anywhere and with anyone apparently and his mother would still have been COMPLETELY unawares.

I have never in my life heard anyone being taken out cold by bronchitis. Dina wasn't worried about anyone accept herself 'recovering'... In her nap that day... she certainly was not available for her son. What if he had been calling to say he needed her- that he wanted to leave or come back. SMH.

Yeah. He probably would have choked from all the trash in that infamous candy drawer.

It is very difficult to sleep with bronchitis because the constant coughing makes it impossible to do so.

New entry on the SD ROA in preparation for tomorrow's ex parte meeting. #343, filed by Adam Shacknai, 58 pages. Link below will expire in a few hours; document forwarded to Bessie for posting in the doc thread.

343 04/12/2016 Ex Parte Application - Other and Supporting Documents (Application for Order Advancing the Hearing Date of Defendant Adam Shacknais Motion for Early Designation of Experts) filed by Shacknai, Adam. Shacknai, Adam (Defendant) Application for Order Advancing the Hearing Date of Defendant Adam Shacknais Motion for Early Designation of Experts

Case Number: 37-2013-00075418-CU-PO-CTL

https://roa.sdcourt.ca.gov/roa/face...dvancing_the_Hearing_Date_o_1460568976747.pdf

I think we will see some scheduling changes, and perhaps other new entries on the ROA following the ex parte tomorrow. One area being addressed is the discovery hearing scheduled for 8/05/2016, which we now know from Adam's motion #342 on the ROA, is related to petition to add in earlier discovery of expert witnesses that is typical before trial. I think that is a lot of what tomorrow's meeting is about, so I'm guessing there will be several changes on the ROA coming out of that. I think the judge will allow early discovery of experts, which I'm personally VERY happy about!

Unless you are taking medication.

I've had bronchitis - for weeks. I have cough-variant asthma. I have allergies and have had sinus surgery. In other words, I've had most every upper respiratory condition imaginable, and never once have I been prescribed anything, nor taken anything over the counter, that knocked me out cold.

I suspect Dina's spinning yarns about her "bronchitis nap."
