What Mrs. Gore did was in very poor taste. When I think about her motives, and the information that Sheriff Gore must have shared with her.......I am sickened beyond belief. They are both disgusting individuals on many levels.........makes me understand why their son is such a loser.

It would be good to see this in court as evidence of the attitude that prevailed in the "investigation" into the death of Rebecca.

I had to wait to post about the retirement gift from Mrs. Gore. I am trying to type this without getting in trouble.

I cannot imagine what kind of person would do such a thing and to do it at an event attended by many people to boot.

This type of disgusting, gleeful and malicious behavior has been seen since RZ murdered, since anyone dared to question SDSO's decision on the case. Even before that, really.

During the Heather Elvis case, the suspect was on SM trying to make herself and her husband look innocent, throwing shade at the (STILL!!) missing victim and her family. Currently both she and her husband are sitting in jail awaiting trial for Heather's murder. Of course, these are middle class people, not people with big money and even bigger connections.

When the first hearings for bond were televised, they used the suspects own SM and her own words to help solidify her staying put in jail.

I hope to see something similar happen in this case. Years of this kind of behavior, towards a dead woman and her family. Absolutely disgusting.

I put together all the re-enactment videos that I have into one video – unfortunately, I only saved a screenshot from Valhall’s efforts which focused on the improbability of someone of Rebecca’s height being able to lean and fall over the balcony.
The video features part one and part two as well as bonus footage from News 8’s re-enactment. At the end I tacked on the SDSO knot demo.
(Just as a note, I don’t personally endorse the News 8 production - I have numerous problems with it.)

As well, Valhall in her professional career is a rocket scientist. Very educated gal. I miss her insight.

Val also attempted to reenact the shirt gagging. Val ran out of oxygen every time she tried to wrap the shirt around her neck and stuff it in her mouth. IIRC she felt like she was losing consciousness. It couldn't be done! Rebecca could not have wrapped the shirt, gagged herself and jumped off the balcony all by herself.

No, Mrs. Gore read the game instructions (that she had written), and everyone that was there, except for the Gore's of course, had a very uncomfortable look on their faces. She was mocking Rebecca and her family.

Tasteless! Only a narcissist with no compassion would present this to someone in a public setting as a retirement gift. It would be sick even in a personal setting. I wonder if this could be reviewed by an ethics committee? After all, Mr. Gore is an elected representative of San Diego.

My best guess is that Dina started fomenting about revenge almost as soon as she went to hospital on Monday (she must have been a bit embarrassed also about not being available). I think they planned to have Rebecca pick up Nina because of this (Monday evening?). I believe the plan was starting to take form or at least was on someone's mind by Monday night or Tuesday morning... wasn't Dina curiously absent from the hospital on Tuesday? And, Nina too. Although I think you could be right, Dina left Tuesday evening and maybe that is why Nina had to borrow Jonah's car?

Dina understandably was already an emotional mess, likely not thinking straight. She was grieving for her son. I personally believe Dina was fuming over details Nina shared. The details Nina received during her ride from the airport with Rebecca. I believe after returning from dinner with Rebecca and Adam, Jonah was quizzed by Dina. Jonah with no more details to share with Dina likely further enraged her. I can imagine both Jonah and Nina trying to calm her down. I believe Dina took off in a fit of rage w/o telling anyone, leaving her phone at the hospital. In my theory, it took Jonah and Nina awhile to realize she had left. Maybe even calling her phone only to find it was in the room. I think this is where Jonah offered his car to Nina so she could leave to find Dina.

It is important to remember there is a discrepancy in the timeline in when Dina returned to the hospital (after being gone 10 plus hours) on Tuesday. Nina gave a different time in her interview than Jonah gave in his interviews with detectives. IIRC, 4:00 vs 6:00. I am anxious to find out what time the Asian was actually searched using Rebecca's computer. IIRC, Adam arrived Tuesday at 4:00. Rebecca would have been picking him up from the airport.

So the Zahau civil case "conference" between the Zahau lawyers & the Defendants (Dina, et al) is postponed until Jan 9, 2015. In the interim, the Zahaus may also file an amended WDS complaint by 11/01/2014, likely pending results from Sept 2014 Federal case. Also, Defendants are free to refile their motions to dismiss once amended WDS complaint is refiled in Nov 2014.

TIME! The 6PM (as reported by NR) and the 8PM (per JS)...I have wondered if there was any "intentional misleading" and so far, the one person who IMO has gone out of their way to mislead the details on Rebecca's death:
"Can't leave my son" BUT DID LEAVE HER SON
"We are twins" Yeah, but DON'T LOOK ANYTHING ALIKE
"looked through the gate" BUT ADDS I DIDN'T TOUCH IT (to me, that explanation was used to explain why the passer-by saw someone walking around the driveway)
"she got back at 6PM" Sister knew no one was at the Ocean property, RZ was gone for a couple of hours (taking XZ the airport and also staying there until AS was picked up)
IMO it gave DS plenty of time to go through the house, the scene of MS's accident and do her own investigation. At 4pm there are lots of
pedestrians & cars on Ocean....especially on a beautiful July day. She would not have attracted undue attention, during the late afternoon. She might
even have had time to access the computer....still using the "airline account?" because Rebecca was also using that account to reconfirm flight and
pick-up times for XZ & AS. The "scene" did not make sense juxtaposed to the explanations the Mother was given.....Finally getting back to the
hospital, and receives the worst news possible.........disaster ensues.
PS...these are just some of theories I had thought on the time discrepancy and who was "nearest to the Ocean house." I will not be offended if someone else has theories diametrically opposed to mine....this is a collaborative forum. Surely there is some sort of "visitor" log in, or video tape of who came and went from the hospital, right?

I would really like to find out for sure about the Federal Court hearing in September. But what you say makes sense (that that is the case against Gore & SD medical examiners office for more evidence) if Zahau's were responding to plaintiff's claims in their documents that they didn't have evidence.

I have been in the actual "hanging room", and there is no way that Rebecca did what SDSO insists that she did. JUST NOT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE!

First off, there is a door sill and about a 2 to 3" drop from that onto the surface of the balcony, making it even more difficult to keep your balance, and the height of the railing does not add up to someone Rebecca's size to go over being bound the way she was. Even for someone with a lot of balance, like a dancer or a gymnast, it is still just not possible.

Another discrepancy that could indicate conspiracy or coverup was the recorded time of Nina Romano's text to RZ just prior to her murder. Phone records show the time of the text was 10:41 pm, but Nina insisted it was 9:41 pm.

I've always thought they went to the Mansion on Tues while Rebecca was gone. Who knows, maybe that is how "The Maid" got there too.
