DeDee, sorry for jumping in, but I have that link. The best information we have about the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 is:

Page 197, Ann Rule's book, Fatal Friends and Deadly Enemies:

"On July 13, Deputy Pearce examined a Hewlett-Packard laptop computer, whose only active user account was Rebecca Zahau, and an iMac computer whose single account user was Jonah Shacknai. Both of the computers were from the guest room/computer room with the balcony wihere Becky Zaau had allegedly hung herself."

Page 198, Ann Rule's book, Fatal Friends and Deadly Enemies:

"2. A review of the Internet history for Becky's computer during the last twenty four hours showed numerous searches and viewing of 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, including lesbian and anime 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬."

Did Ann Rule talk about time stamps at all? I'm honestly very curious of the timing of this 🤬🤬🤬🤬 viewing. (O/T it's really weird for me to type that)

TIA

inthedark14, I apologize. The first mention that it was not suicide by Mary Zahau was in the Coronado Patch two days after the suicide. Those articles are no longer accessible so I cannot prove that.

This was out on the 16th, and it was attributed to "a friend" that didn't want to be identified. IMO, she was speaking on behalf of Mary Zahau, although that is just my opinion.

Saturday, Jul 16, 2011

A friend of Nalepa, who asked not to be identified, said the woman she knew was born in Burma, attended a Christian Bible College in Austria and would never consider suicide.

Mary Zahau officially (besides the Coronado Patch article) went to the press on July 19th. These are only two of the links. There are many.

July 19, 2011 - "Rebecca was a beautiful, vibrant, loving and kind person and she would never do this to herself," Zahau's sister Mary Zahau-Loehner told ABC News.

July 19, 2011 - Reached at her home in St. Joseph, Missouri, Nalepa’s distraught sister said she didn’t believe her sister would have taken her own life. “It was not a suicide,” she said. “Because I know my sister.”

Re: anime

?? Wi-Fi accessed from the guest house ?? Or, heck, from anywhere on the property, by anyone who had been given access / who knew the code /who knew where to find the code and using a smartphone, for example ??

Somewhere in the last few pages (?) I read that the rope (which may or may not have come from the garage!) was cut into 3 pieces before being used for the noose, hand binding and foot binding. Was the rope cut in the guest room? Was the tool used to cut the rope found/listed as evidence? Wouldn't it take a knife to cut through that type of rope?

No, but only Rebecca and her sister were there that morning, and Adam did not arrive at the mansion until approx. 8 p.m. And in my opinion, Rebecca would have had time at the mansion some during that Monday evening, Tuesday morning, Tuesday afternoon and after she spoke with Mary that night.

Another interesting tidbit in the book from Ann Rules "Fatal Friends and Deadly Neighbors" - (page 260) of Ann Rules "Fatal Friends and Deadly Neighbors" -

"Her family's attorney's had conferred with rope experts, and they'd learned about a Japanese "art" and/or "sexual sadomasochistic" practice of tying ropes around human beings. It is called Shibari.

Sometimes, Shibari can be as innocuous as the delicate art of wrapping perfect packages. At other times, it is a sexual practice or fetish, one that few have heard of. Currently trendy in the Orient and Europe, the intricate machinations of what can only be termed "top sex" demand the winding, knotting, and rewinding of ropes around the limbs and other body parts of sexual partners or those that use in bondage positions."

Search about Shabari - if you are curious there are photos, but be ready to blush. :blushing:

It would have shown up in the computer records if someone had connected wirelessly. And Ann Rule would have told us that, IMO.

There were two knives found in the room with the balcony:

Were there prints and DNA on the knives?

The small knife had Rebecca’s DNA, and only Rebecca’s DNA. No fingerprints were developed from this item. The large knife had Rebecca’s fingerprints, and only Rebecca’s fingerprints. A low level of DNA material was found on this knife as well, but it was not enough for any comparison.

Rescpectfully snipped by me-
This thread is about the Zahau's civil case, which I believe will be thrown out of court. I find it appalling that they have accused three innocent people of murder - all with out one shred of real evidence. I believe they will end up paying all the court costs of those they have accused.

Respectfully snipped by me-
I suppose what you refer to as the "knee/crotch" interview on PPPs is what I call a very sad interview by a mother who's lost her only child with not many answers - since the only adult there committed suicide less than 40 hours after his "accident".

Dina knows what she is talking about and is truly an expert. She was was involved in this tragedy, only because her precious little boy was put into a casket [modsnip]. Whether Max's fall was accidental or intentional, Dina will never know, because Ms. Zahau didn't stick around to answer questions.

BLUE/BBM

Hi LuckyLucy2,

I find it appalling Dina accused two innocent people, Rebecca and her minor sister, of murdering Max all without a shred of evidence. I have read Dina's experts reports. Imo the reports have multiple credibility issues. I wish COPD would have investigated Maxie's death properly. I personally believe Maxie's death was an awful tragic accident. Dina gave an interview to ECoronado the day she addressed the city council. In the interview, Dina herself says...

"As far as we know there were two people that the Coronado police department say that were there, but how do we know that? How do we know there's not another person and how do we know this persons not out and about?"

In the interview Dina is certain Max was assaulted, then admits she doesn't know who all was there. If Dina didn't know who all was there then how does she know who assaulted Max? Imo, this is very important because Dina herself is questioning who was there! Jonah, other kids or maybe even a stranger? Imo, it was convenient to accuse a deceased woman of murder who cannot speak for herself. Why just go after Rebecca and her sister if Dina didn't know who all was there? Dina didn't trust Jonah either. Remember the incident where Max wet the bed because Jonah was angry? I am bringing this up because this only adds to my belief that Rebecca was murdered and Dina was involved. In my opinion, Dina only accused Rebecca and XZ because she wanted to disparage Rebecca and take the spotlight off herself. I do believe Dina was looking for the truth about what happened to Max and rightfully so. However because she left others out who may have possibly assaulted Max I believe Dina was attempting to manipulate the story in an attempt to cover up her involvement in Rebecca's murder.

Respectfully Snipped-
Then the numerous trashy tabloid Radar Online articles, and the nasty things said about two grieving parents. The Highlight Hollywood fake stories that were written and printed; the fake poem by Rebecca's nephew and the fake song by Eminem. The disgusting sweeps week exhumation of Rebecca's body on Dr. Phil. The smaltzy "commercial" they had made to ask for money and ask the public for her in solving Rebecca's "murder. It goes on and on and on.

RSBM-

Dina never accused Rebecca of murdering Max and did not go to the media until a year after his death. She used the word homicide, and left open the possibility that whatever happened was accidental but that someone else was involved. And since only Rebecca and her sister were there…well, you do the math. And I agree with Dina. Max's accident did not go down the way Rebecca said it did. But since she took her own life less than 40 hours after Max's accident, guess we will never know what really happened

BlueBBM-

This statement is false. Dina went on KTAR on Feb 21, 2013 and publicly accused Rebecca and/or XZ of murdering Max. Dina does not leave open the possibility it was accidental or that someone else was involved. Also at that time the Zahau's had still not named a single person whom they believed murdered Rebecca. As well the statement Dina gives does not coincide with the remarks she made about knowing who was in the house. See my post above where Dina admits to NOT knowing who was in the house. In this KTAR interview Dina was asked who she thought killed Max. Dina's response...

"I think someone in the house killed Max and there were only two people there in the house. And unfortunately Rebecca and her sister XZ. And one of them killed Max."

It would have shown up in the computer records if someone had connected wirelessly. And Ann Rule would have told us that, IMO.

At this time it has never been made public what time the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 was viewed or by whom. Sheriff Gore nor Bremner released the in depth details. Maybe it was RZ, but until it is proven please do not bloviate the facts.

BREMNER-

In a phone interview with News 8, Bremner later confirmed that more than a dozen searches of sexual content – using terms like "raped, sexy Asian girls, and bondage anime" – were accessed on a computer the day before Zahau's death.

"It's important to the investigation because there is an image from anime, and its called bond anime and it shows an Asian women bound; at least her hands are bound behind her back," said the Seattle-based attorney.

Bremner said it was not Zahau who looked at the online content and suggested the computer may have been accessed by someone using an airline account.

"Never in a million years would she have those fantasies; and never in a million years would she even look at 🤬🤬🤬🤬," said Bremner told News 8. "There was somebody interested in doing her harm, with these kinds of searches."

GORE -

News 8 asked Sheriff Bill Gore whether 🤬🤬🤬🤬 was found on Zahau's computer at a news conference Wednesday, but he refused to comment on the content recovered.

"That information is now in the possession of Anne Bremner if she'd like to discuss that with you," said Gore. "We're not really putting out all the specifics of the information found on the computer."

Those specifics are contained in the forensic computer report that Sheriff Gore also said he is not inclined to release.

"We released what we thought was pertinent so the public could understand how we arrived at our conclusions. To release the whole file would not be in keeping with our own policy," said Gore.

There is the matter of RZ accessing her computer for Asian anime that seems to be lost here. That is as close to evidence of RZs knowledge of bondage as we are going to get, IMOO. However, that one detail speaks volumes when considering the rope and knots. To say RZ was not capable of tying knots cannot be proven since she was hanging out with a man who owned two rather nice boats/yachts. IIRC, the end of the rope had a yellow plastic handle attached and a label that declared the rope to be safe for using with water craft sports up to a 300# limit.

IMHO, I believe a nude RZ tied herself in a bondage position as a way of telling Jonah look, one last time, at what you are going to miss. At the same time, she was implicating others as best as she can without them being present to leave any of their DNA, hair, fingerprints, etc.

Hi DeeDee,
Numerous members have recommended that we not try to access links when we are unsure about them. As a result, would you please include the actual quote that includes the part about the 300# limit? I'm curious because I have never seen it in MSM either. Thank you in advance.

I will do better than provide a MSM link. From the AR:

“The decedent hand and feet were bound with an orange colored rope.”
[SNIP]
“All the rope referred to in the description of the neck ligature and the bindings of the hands and feet are similar in appearance. Unless otherwise specified it is reddish-orange, braided, synthetic, and 7/16 in diameter.”
[SNIP]
“The right ankle has six loops and the left has eight. There is a knot on the proximal right lower leg exiting anteriority. There is a second similar knot on the left ankle. Wrapped within the bindings is a yellow plastic tube which encircles one strand of thicker rope, which appears to be a water sport tow rope handle. There is a warning on the yellow handle stating among other things that it is “...intended only for towing up to a maximum of two people or 340 pounds on an inflatable tube.”

It's DeDee but your error is understandable.

Also, allow me to post this observation: AB never met RZ so how would she be able to unequivocally state that RZ never viewed or enjoyed viewing p*rn?

Maybe SDSO should have conducted a full forensic victimology... of course, then a lot about Dina would come out.

it's actually, Shibari, and typically it is not performed on oneself during sex. There is no evidence Rebecca practiced Shibari anyway. We could also claim that Dina, or Nina, or Adam possibly knew Shibari.

Didn't I say Shibari? I'm confused.
Most people keep their private sexual practices to themselves, so I wouldn't think there would be evidence, but Jonah would have known and told investigators.

Jonah would have know if Rebecca was in to 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and bondage play. All SDSO had to do was ask him. IMO, they did, and he said "yes" and mentioned Shibari rope tying.

Dina said she thought Max's death was a homicide, and never said she thought it was done on purpose. Homicide includes many options:

Killing of one human being by another. Homicide is a general term; it includes murder, manslaughter, and other criminal homicides as well as noncriminal killings. Murder is the crime of intentionally and unjustifiably killing another. In the U.S., first-degree murder is a homicide committed with premeditation or in the course of a serious felony (e.g., kidnapping). Second- and third-degree murder involve lesser degrees of intent. Manslaughter is commonly divided into voluntary (or first-degree) and involuntary (or second- and third-degree) manslaughter. The first type encompasses any homicide resulting from an intentional act done without malice or premeditation and while in the heat of passion or on sudden provocation; the second type is variously defined in different jurisdictions but often includes an element of unlawful recklessness or negligence. Noncriminal homicides include killings committed in defense of oneself or another and deaths resulting from accidents caused by persons engaged in lawful acts.

Please do not sleuth case players outside the context of this lawsuit. If it is not directly to the events at the mansion or the lawsuit, it doesn't belong here and also, remember to leave any and all minors out of the discussion, thanks.
