Hey everyone,

I’m really new to this site, so bear with me. I’m posting here to see if anyone remembers or has information about the quadruple homicide that happened the night of Huntington High School’s prom, which claimed the lives of 4 teenagers from the local area. This case made national headlines but I don’t think anyone was ever charged with the murders.

I highly recommend watching the video of WSAZ reporting in the 2nd link, it gives a brief overview of what happened that night as well as interviews with the victims’ family.

Everything about this case is chilling. Four teenagers who, by all accounts, should have been out having the time of their lives on prom night, were shot execution-style in the front yard of someone’s home in the middle of the night.

While I don’t think there have been any formal arrests, from what I understand from the reporting is that a woman named Cherelythia “Bunny” Holmes was suspected of ordering the killings. While she wasn’t charged in this case, she was found guilty of murdering another woman named Wendy Morgan in 2004. I had read that she was to be released on parole this month, but it looks like this was due to some kind of error and she is to remain in prison.

Bunny Holmes to remain in prison following parole release mix-up

This case has always haunted me, because I went to high school with one of the girls who was murdered, Megan Poston. Her dad is interviewed in the video I mentioned above. According to a witness, Megan begged for her life before someone shot her in the back of the head. Her family deserves answers. All the victims families deserve justice.

I don’t even know if the original scene of the crime exists as it did back in 2004, there were a lot of neighborhoods that were demolished to build new housing. I don’t know if there is any physical evidence they have in the case that they could try to re-test for DNA, since there have been major advances in DNA technology since 2004.

What I do know is that someone out there has got to have information on this. Someone knows exactly what happened that night, or knows someone who knows what happened that night.

Thanks for taking the time to read my 1st post on websleuths, and please let me know if there’s any information that may be relevant to this case.

Wow, we get Huntington news here (the Ohio side of the river) and I'd never even heard of this case. Hushed up indeed IMO.
