Is it just me or does it seem like the media there just shares the same story?....one reporter writes something and then every other media just reprints the same story over and over.

It's probably difficult to get new info when family and police aren't speaking to the media.

John Street is opposite side of town. The high-rise is an apt complex for seniors. The river flows from there into the part of the river that they are searching, but way downstream from where they are searching at Hwy 19 North.

If there is nothing new to add what should they update stories with? There are very little known public pieces of info, so how differently can different news outlets present the known info?

I looked on the Transportation Dept.'s website and I found 2 road closures near Lewis County. Both are closed due to construction.

Yep, that is the highrise as near as I can tell. It is the Western Arbors at 401 John St, Weston.

The road closure that says from Weston to Kitsonville is the 1 of 2 roads to get to downtown from 19 south. We call it the narrows. A 1-way street through downtown, then turns to 2-way at that point. From downtown 1 lane goes up 19 south and the other goes off to the left to the street with the courthouse and post office and it's a 1-way street too in the opposite direction. The only other road to downtown from here is Terrace Ave, which is very narrow road that goes along beside the river. Otherwise, we have to go down the interstate to get to downtown. They have had problems with rock slides and they are trying to prevent them. It's a very small patch of road and it has been closed for about a month now.
