O/T The court just gave temp custody of Susan Powell's boys to her parents

O/T but wasn't it the state that granted the temp custody and now a judge is deciding if he will uphold it?

Im really curious about this press conference at 4. Will it be streamed on the website? Im praying its not bad news.. :(

It will be streamed from WDTV:

http://www.wdtv.com/

I have found in the past that the live feeds are rather "bumpy" meaning a lot of buffering - probably a result of them not having a server with enough wumpo to feed all the people who are trying to view it live.

Not exactly from what I understood.

Behind the scenes the state had already ordered temp custody to the Coxes...they are in court now and Josh is hoping they overturn the ruling. No ruling has been made yet.

The area is rural and does not have but one or two reporters and I know
that one reporter was sent from the Charleston,WV tv station!!!!!! I know this
because I called and spoke directly to these people......

WSAZ in Charleston reported on this story last night. I hope someone from this station went since that is the one we watch. HOping for more details.

(it does read the state but they were in family court)

The park entrance is not on John Street, so it would not be that. John street seems to have a lot of problems with water lines and very big holes. They may have closed it just to patch some holes. It is very narrow.

5 NEWS UPDATE: Community Comes Together to Look for Missing Girl
(respectfully snipped)
"The FBI's here going door to door and we're just, I've got three groups out on Route 19, we've got them out in the Homewood area, we've got them out near the Broken Wheel Campground," says Community Emergency Response Team Leader Chris Strader.
-------
Would any of these areas be the area that is also closed off right now?

I may be alone on this and I am usually the first cynic in the bunch, but I still believe this could have been an accidental drowning, if she is found in the water. No matter what parents say their children would never do, the children do it anyway. JMO

I completely agree.

I thought the closing of the street was at Garton Plaza to Wendy's not the highrise......
There is a state park in behind Wendy's. The park is not very big but it does have a
swimming pool......Please correct me if anyone knows better!!!!!

The judge will retrun her decision at 2pm. (Pacific Time)

Road closure from Western Arbors High Rise to Garton Plaza, Weston:

Are those cameras on your image actually street cameras? Seems suspicious that this is closed off all along the river like this. Perhaps they recorded her driving on the road with all the cameras? If so, why would she be driving on what appears to be a "highway" looking for her child??

Is the presser on wdtv.com? It seems like they're advertising that it'll be on wdtv (ie the TV station) and there doesn't seem to be a "watch live" link, or a link with the red bar stating the presser will be at 4pm?

The park is also not very secluded. More of a city park. there is the public pool, playground, miniature golf and pavilions. You should also keep in mind, the streets here can be very narrow, straight up a hill. It makes it harder for road crews to simply patch a hole as there is no room for a car to get around. A lot of the roads on the maps are gravel. It took me awhile to learn to drive around here. There may be a rock wall on one side where you can't get a car over far enough.
