If what she states is true... why in the world would she babysit the infant if she had a toddler that (supposedly) treated him like that? IF this is true she's still guilty in my mind because this could have been prevented by not staying overnight knowing her toddler had these sorts of issues.

so this woman has diagnosed her toddler with neurological brain disorders, claims to have witnessed her child hit scratch and bite the infant previously and yet alleges she left that infant in harms way near/with the toddler unsupervised?

Yeah, that didn't happen. 100% this lady hurt that baby JMO MOO etc.

According to the criminal complaint, the baby boy was born on Oct. 14, 2025, and his mother was still in the hospital 11 days later. On Oct. 25, 2025, Flint was watching the baby boy along with her 3-year-old daughter.
She was booked into the Western Regional Jail in Mason County, where she is being held on $100,000 cash bond. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 2.

The complaint says medical records from the emergency department say the infant had “multiple traumatic injuries” and “exhibited medical distress” requiring resuscitation and “emergent airway management.” According to the complaint, the infant had multiple injuries to their head, face and hands, along with internal head injuries and skull fractures.

and in the extremely unlikely event the toddler did cause the injuries it is still on this woman because she failed to supervise either child. I cannot imagine that baby's poor mother. Still in the hospital after labor complications, baby is released from hospital before her, and dies before she ever gets out with never a chance to mother her child and poof he is gone, in such a violent fashion. How does one even process that

Exactly. Even if it's true she's guilty as heck. But I think she's just placing blame on anyone but herself. I feel sorry for her toddler if she somehow manages to escape jailtime. That child needs to be taken away.
